As long as you have a big enough tank, like a 10 gallon, there are several fish that can go with a betta, just stay away from fish that have long fancy fins like a male guppy

but you also need a heater, filter as well as live plants

any kind of molly
any kind of platy
neons
zebra danios
and cory cats for the bottom

and they are community fish, just like the ones mentioned above, people should really do some research, before saying that they eat and fight with other fish, what nonsense that is

Hope that helps
Good luck

P.S.:

And for curious george, you better check your own spelling ;)

Wait, what? MyCuriousGeorge just complained about spelling?

affence= offense
taratory= territory
discription= description

Bettas only fight with other Bettas, so any fish with small fins that is not nippy would be fine. Fish like Fancy Guppies have long fins and may be attacked by the Betta (because they look like Betta fins). Fish like Tiger Barbs will attack the Betta because they are very nippy.

Some Neon (7) or Cardinal Tetras would be good along with 3 Cory Cats in a 10 gallon tank.

Also, you can put 3+ females together. When there are only 2 females, they will fight very often because it is difficult to form a pecking order with only 2 fish.

Email me if you have any questions.

Try some tetras. Just remember that some of them are schooling fish, so you'll need 5 or more of them. Neon tetras are pretty, and they don't take up much space.

MyCuriousGorge, seriously... check your spelling before you criticize other people's spelling. Yours is WAY worse than the spelling of the person who asked the question!

Oh! My bad. When I saw "fish help", I thought you were asking help from fish. Well, I'm not the species you're looking for.

You can't put any other fish with Betta's they will kill them. A betta is a Chinese fighting fish.

you cant put any fish with bettas. bettas fight for death if another fish enters their taratory. sorry, but you can put 2 female betta fish together. they'll rarely fight
