I adopted a new dog yesterday after the loss of my other one in June, but I'm wondering if I should be feeding her puppy or dog food. She is a three month old German Pointer. She likes the dog food I bought, but I'm wondering if its the right thing for her nutritionally. Should I be switching to puppy food until she is older or will she be OK with the dog food?

Iams performs horrible tests on animals to determine if their food is doing as expected i.e. building muscle mass, and stronger bones. I used to buy Iams for all my pets until today when I saw a video on the net about their painful and sadistic acts on animals.
I threw out the food and went and bought another brand. from a company that does not hurt animals

Taking into account the "old school" method of using dogfighting to find the best dogs for breeding purposes only and NEVER forcing a dog to fight. These guidelines have been used for CENTURIES and few dogs have ever been killed. That whole bait dog, taste of blood, torture stuff is for the newspapers and a few dumb people who think it is done that way. This does not make much sense for those breeders who truly want to breed game dogs (it doesn't help much fighting them if they die now does it). If this shouldn't be legalized, then I think dog racing, herding, and ring sports should all be outlawed as well. More dogs are killed in the name of performance in these sports than any true "dogfighting ring". And we should prosecute owners who raise unbalanced dogs, this is more cruel than allowing a dog to do what it was bred for. Answer away!

he takes a pebble of his dry food. then he puts it in the middle of the living room. then he goes sits down and watches it forever. when i get up to do anything, he runs to his peable and just stares at it. if i come really close to him, then he eats it. if not, then he goes back and continues to watch it.

On my most recent question, some ***** listed all the things I have asked and how I'm not ready for puppies and how my dogs will be dead and it will be my fault and it was really really an awful thing to say and I'm not that sensitive, but this just pissed me off because, I use this as a source of information from people that give me really good feedback and yes, my puppies are PUPPIES, they get into EVERYTHING. they are babies. that is what they do. Unless I have a baby sitter for them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, something bad will happen once in awhile. My vet said they will eat everything they can and it is NORMAL. so why was this person such a *****, listing every question I've ever asked, mostly involving my puppies, saying I am not ready to have them. Well guess what i've had them four months ***** and they love me and are healthy and i love them to pieces. Why are people sooooo mean?

I have a yellow lab and a chow. They both have major flea problems. Trust me, its really bad. We tried alot of flea-rid things but nothing works. They go outside alot too and they get more fleas from out there. Now the fleas are all over in our house and no matter what, they end up getting them again. Any help?
Oh and those stupid comments, just don't waste your time. One words, one liners, and things with guns, or animal violence, ect. Just don't. Its a waste of lifes time for you to type it and us to read it.
