homosexual behavior if found in almost every species. Is your dog neutered? If not, neutering, most likely, will curtail this behavior.

Another reason for male2male or female2female mounting behavior in dogs, who instictively are pack animals, is alpha behavior, i.e., attempting to assert dominance over the one being mounted.

If you establish yourself as the pack leader, i.e., the alpha, this will help also. Establishing dominance, though, does not mean abuse or hitting or yelling. Alpha males and females rarely "raise thier voices" or exert physical aggression ... they emit the dominant aura and the pack follows. It's an energy thing ... not a physical one.

Ya right, no animals are gay. Its called asserting dominance. Its just the way dogs show others that they are in charge. Maybe you should learn a little about your dog...ever think of getting a little more info so that you can understand why he does what he does?

More detail would be helpful. I am assuming he is "riding" other male dogs. This could be a "I am the boss" situation with him. If you aren't planning on breeding him, and haven't gotten him fixed, this maybe something you ought to look into. Is age may have something to do with it too. If he is a puppy yet, this is normal. He should out grow it. More detail would have helped.

My dog is definitely gay. He only humps other males (yet he is extremely submissive so it isn't a dominance thing) yet all his friends are female, he minces around the park, wiggling his bum as he walks, he's very image conscious, his favourite film is priscilla queen of the desert. Dogs definitely can be gay and mine DEFINITELY is!

i didn't no dogs cub b gay but i supposed if i had a gay 1 then i would treat it like a normally dog and let it live its life as if it were not gay just like gay people are lefty to live their lives they don't have restrictions as to who they can meet so just treat your dog like a normal dog. take it to the vets if you are worried about it is the best advise i can give. good luck

My dogs is border collie x blue heeler. She is clever, alluring, obedient and friendly and her purely fault is that she is very almost the main cowardly animal which you have ever seen!
