"I am a dog groomer and Chinese Crested owner/breeder. I was amaised when I got my first Chinese Crested pup how hard it was to find information on skin care for the hairless dog. I read books, looked on the computer and even talked to other breeders all to find out that it seemed to be the blind leading the blind about skin care. It was a hit and miss using people products that did not always work or made problems worse. I decided I was going to come up with a skin care system that was easy to use and worked. I started with the basics and tried not to add ingredients that would cause breakouts and rashes. I wanted to make a product that would would deal with the skin issues of the hairless dog. I know it was not only breakouts that my dog had but also blackheads. The blackheads were a bigger problem than the breakouts. I started with a body wash that was water based and oil free, I also use a body buff pad to help remove blackheads and dead skin cells. The astringent spray will clean and tighten pores so you have less new breakouts and blackheads. The body lotion is also water based and will soften and smooth the skin. The body mist is a refreshing mist that will keep your pup smelling great in between baths. I have found that this system worked for my Chinese Crested hairless dog. Keeping your Chinese Crested dogs skin clean and soft is the key to nice clear skin. You have to start a skin care system that works for your dog and stick to it. A skin care system can not work if it is not used. Try not to mix and match different brand products, because they may work against each other and cause more problems. What you wash your pups clothing and bedding in may also cause a problem. Keeping you pups skin clean only works if your pups bedding and clothes are just as clean. Don't forget to wash your hands. Hands produce oils that may make your pups breakouts worse, so keep your hands clean. If you use these skin care tips for your pup, you will notice your a clearer smoother skin in a few short weeks. Thank you for taking the time to read this guide. "
