my dogs paws are swollen and don't know whats causing it

it could be an allergy or a bug bite...when my dogs paws were swollen it was becuase of a bee sting..and another time her face swelled up becuase ants bit her...it was sad

Maybe the dog injured it's paws somehow,take him to a vet.

Sounds like an allergy. Have you changed carpet deodorizers or floor detergent? Ditto for laundry soap. Are you using fertilizer or insecticide on the lawn? Consider what chemicals you have recently started using. Maybe a clue in there.

Possible bug bite, twisted its ankle. Look between the pads for anything digging into the foot, or anything under the foot, that is stuck in there. If long haired, shave the hair under and around the pads.

You need to bring your dog to the vet and call him ASAp
iT IS NOT NORMAL THAT THEY SWELL UP.
The dog probably needs medications or a shot.

Your dog may be biting it's self or got sting. GO SEE YOUR VET NOW!!!!!
