Sit on him. Teach him a lesson.

no way. move him when you want to sit back down. You control any type of situation no matter how large or small. If you move to a differant spot, then you're saying it's okay for him to do what he wants and that is his way of dominating you. Besides, yorkies are lap dogs, just move him, sit down and he'll probably sit with you. Never let a dog get away with anything, this way you always have control of them.

Yeah, that is a good habit to get into!!!! Then you will be one of those wussies that complains that they cannot move the dog off the couch because it attacks you!!!!!!!!!!
Remember...YOU are ALPHA!!!1 If you let the dog be alpha, you are in for some trouble!

Definitely make him move, it's a dominance thing. Otherwise you may find as he gets older he will bite you if you take "his chair." YOU are top dog of his particular pack, not him! You may have to resort to spraying him with a jet of cold water or similar, but get him to move!

nice to see my yorkie, isn't the only bossy yorkie. You have to move him to establish in his mind that youare the leader of the pack. If not, he will think he is in control of everything. He will do it not only to you, but company as well. It is up to you if you slide him over' put him in your lap or put him on the floor.

No you dont want to do that because then your dog thinks it can et away with everything. Maybe you can pick it up and put it in your lap if you dont want to push it out of the seat:)

You have to move him. Put him on the floor and teach him that it is you who are the dominant one in your house. He will learn to respect you more that way and learn his place. The same goes if a boyfriend does it.

No, I agree with the other people who say move him! That way you reinforce you being the boss.

Move him. Dogs, like children, need to learn who is in charge.
