This is very confusing to me ,because most dogs if they are not going to come when you call, it will be out side, but when we are in the house he will turn and go under the sofa when I call him unless I have food in my hand.He does lots of tricks for treats, but if you don't have something for him,he just won't come to you inside. So what in the world can I do to correct this.

My dog is about nine months old (she was a shelter dog) and is a big chewer, which isn't a problem I just need to find something that will last her awhile.

I have had many dogs and also many cats. Dogs will meet you at the door and want you to pet them and cats just seem to be distant for some reason

When I walk my 1 year old mini American Eskimo (25 lbs), and my 10 year old shepard mix (65 lbs) they are ok until they see another dog. They flip out and bark uncontrollably. They are friendly, I think they just get excited to see another "friend". It is embarassing when they won't listen to me and stop, and I think it scares other people and dogs because they take it as aggressive. How do I get them to not bark and stay calm? I'm calm and don't think I put out a bad vibe. What can I do?

I have a dog "part lab" that decided to give birth to her pups in the woods. We live in a wooded country area and she loves being outdoors. She has a nice dog house which is being enough for her and her pups but she decided on having them deep in the woods under a bunch of trees that have either been cut down or have fallen down.

I was checking her temperature pretty regularly for the past week because I was told that if her temperature dropped to under 100 degrees then she'd have her pups within 24 hours. I planned to bring her inside "in my basement," when her temperature dropped. I checked it yesterday morning around 5am and it was 100.2 and she was eating fine. So, I let her back outside but by noon she had already went to this wooded den and had her pups.

I have tried to look up in there to see her and her pups but she is too far back. I can hear them whine but that is about it. I am worried about her/pups. What can I do? I can't get to them.
