It depends on his weight and condition. Under most airline requirements - as well as USDA - a puppy cannot be shipped until it is at least eight weeks old. HOWEVER, just because it is allowed, doesn't always mean it is adviseable. Puppies under two pounds should not be shipped until they are at least 16 weeks old.

Airlines will not ship a puppy until it is 8 weeks old. That is all of the airlines policies. We breed English Bulldogs and ship once a year, usually when they are 10 weeks old.

My brother raises champion hunting dogs and ships them all over the country. He won't ship one less than 10 weeks old.

The youngest possible age is 6-9 months.It's easier for them to handle any stress at that age.
