he's sooooooo wild! he runs sooo fast that he's just like a flash. my concern is that since I've had him he runs so fast that he can't stop himself and ufortunatly slams into a wall or a piece of furniture. is he ok and is this normal for a wild and crazy kitten like mine? I'm a little worried.

What diffrences exist between male and female kittens and cats? Wheather I decide male or female I will be getting the kitten 'fixed' when they are old enough, so pregnancy is not a deciding factor here just personality and habits.

He is 4 months old and whenever he runs, he pants like a dog. He also has something that looks like zits on his belly area. I know they are not his nipples as they are in clusters like a rash almost. They are not inflammed or bothering him. Ive had cats all my life and have never seen these things before in a cat. Are they normal?

He is a long haired cat. Very sweet. Im wondering if this could be a heat rash of sorts but like I said, the zits are not red or inflammed.

Serious replys only please.

Hae anybody ever hear their cat talk human talk to them? I swear my cat says the words, "food, eat, uhhuh, and sometimes even mama? I think it's cute. How do you communicate with your cat, in human talk or in cries like the cat does?

I rescued a cat that was hit buy a car from the OSU vet clinic a few weeks ago. He's a great cat. I'm feeling guilty cause I work 11 hours a day and after work I'll be home for a 1/2 hour or so and sometimes stay at my girlfriends overnight. In the morning he's very affectionate just like after work and I'm feeling some guilt on the nights I dont return. Is it ok for him to be alone so long? He always has food, water and fresh kitty litter. I also have toys laying around for him to play with.

I got both male kittens same time when they were 7 wks old... they never pee elsewhere but the liter box for 6 wks. No problem til last week, they start to pee on bed. I cleared the liter daily and change fresh liter weekly. I changed the liter brand abt 4 wks ago and it doesnt effect them.

I had to change sheets and blankets every time they soiled my bed then squirt with urine remover, yet they pee my bed nightly. Im at the wit's end.

*** They are scedule to be neutred at 6 mos old. ****

I am so upset! After tending to what appeared to be just a scrape with hydrogen peroxide and anti-biotic cream, her superficial injury had somehow opened into a gaping hole that looks like she was eating her way through herself. It freaked me out so bad that I could hardly sleep last night. My husband wants to put her out of her misery, but she is walking around and eating fine. I am sure that a vet would put her down also, it really looks awful. How can this have happened? Why would she turn a scrape into a life ending injury? Can cats have a flesh eating virus that might have caused this? If so, can it be spread to people? Help please!

about a week ago I entered in a question that asked if my 2 year old female cat would ever learn to like my 4 month old male kitten. well, yesterday afternoon I found them in the corner of the dining room and they were laying right against each other. it was sooooooo cute that I just had to take a picture. then a couple of minutes later I saw my female cleaning my 4 month olds face. sometimes I think that my female thinks that he's her baby (since she's spayed and can't have any of her own). I just wanted to tell everyone who answered my question that they are very close now. my kitten has his little moments where he fights with her but other than that it's great. I'm so thrilled. I haven't even had my 4 month old for 2 weeks yet. I'm soooooooo happy and I knew it would work out sooner or later. sooner with my kitties I guess. Thank You soooooo much for all the answers to my previous question too. I appreciate it. and I just wanted to update everyone on my kitties!!! =^-^=

Well, I used to have am orange Tabby (He passed away last year), and his name was Red Bow. (Bo Bo for short). Well, one of my cats Wilma laways used to annoy Red Bow. When she did that he'd put his paws around her neck, hold her still, and he'd start licking her head. When he finally let her go she'd have a strange hair-do like a mohawk.

We have three large cats (18-24pounds) and am looking for a powerful self cleaning litter box so we don't have to scoop the litter box 4-5 times a day.

we have a cat who is 16 years old. she is very fragile, and we think she has been deaf for about a year now. within the past few days, we have noticed her walking into things, and she cries all the time. she definitely can't see very well, if at all, and we are debating putting her to sleep. is it the right or wrong thing to do, and why?

My one year old cat pants and shows other signs of stress when in the same room as a air conditioner. She even crys and tries to leave the room. During 12 hours of running the air conditioner, she did not eat, drink, or use her litterbox; she just planted herself in a corner. I recently moved to a new apartment, and she is currently confined to my bedroom because her and the other two cats don't get along well yet. It has been so hot that I would like to run my air conditioner, so I feel very torn. Her and my comfort are at stake, so anyone who has some suggestions or simply can confirm that their cat exhibits this problem should help me out! I would really appreciate it! Thank you!!!

I would think the washing machine would drown most of them and then the hot dryer would at least fry them?

Help! We bought a house with very strong cat odor. We've tried vinegar & baking soda. Most of the smell has come out. But every once in a while I get a whiff of it, and it's strong. It's such a gagging smell too. Any other suggestions to rid the smell once and for all? We ripped the carpets out even sanded the hardwood floors, put all new interior doors, and sanded down all kitchen cabinets. The smell is worse when it's rainy and damp outside.
