Well, I used to have am orange Tabby (He passed away last year), and his name was Red Bow. (Bo Bo for short). Well, one of my cats Wilma laways used to annoy Red Bow. When she did that he'd put his paws around her neck, hold her still, and he'd start licking her head. When he finally let her go she'd have a strange hair-do like a mohawk.

One time Red Bow was drinking water from the toilet. My dog Solo (black lab) wanted a turn so he pushed Red Bow. Red Bow's face went in and he went running out of the bathroom. After that he hid. I found him in the living room under the couch cushion. His long hair was sticking up in spikes.

well when i was eating my cereal my cat, Kelly, would bring me my socks (like they were a mouse) just to show that she loved me... and i told her that she doesn't have to bring me socks to show she loved me.
so the next day i was eating cereal and the phone rang, and after talking to my friend...there was Kelly on the table next to my cereal and in my cereal was a ............mouse!!!
omg i was so freaked out, but i knew she only did that to show she loved me..so after that episode..she now brings me socks and i didn't eat cereal after that =)

Right now my cats are kittens so there's at least one funny story every day. But the one that takes the cake currently happened the other day. Chloe tried to jump from my computer monitor to the window (which they do many times a day) and missed. She bounced off of about 3 things before landing on the floor. Yet, she got up and walked away like nothing ever happened. They're so resilient!

My friends cat got run over by a semi-truck out in the country. It didn't die, instead it hobbled back from the highway and crawled into the house through the doggy door. My friend came back from work and found the cat bleeding in the laundry room. He knew that he had to stop the cats suffering, so he took it outside and was going to put it away. He pulled his .22 out of the pickup and shot the cat in the head. Instead of falling dead, the cat sprinted off, broken legs and everything, with my friend chasing it trying to shoot it. My friend gave up as he had to try and reload his pistol. He figured that the cat would just run off and find somewhere to die. Well, my friends wife showed up from work and my friend had to break the news to her. As he was telling her, they both heard the doggy door opening. It was the cat, blood everywhere. My friend tried to grab it, but the cat kept getting away, finally he persuaded the cat back into the front yard, fifty feet from the highway. There was a semi-truck roaring down the road. The next thing you know, the cat is sprinting, broken legs and everything, straight towards the semi truck. Then SMACK!!! There was no third life for this cat. He was deader than a doornail, pancaked into oblivion, roadkill. My friend just stood there in awe, he turned to his wife and said "our cat just commited suicide." She answered back, "well you shouldn't have been such a crappy shot."

I am sorry about Red Bow. We recently adopted an orange tabby named Elvis. He and Angel belonged to my daughter's boyfriend's family, but they moved into a rental where they couldn't keep the cats. Anyhow, Angel likes to climb up on the refrigerator. The other day one of my kids put a bag with fast food papers in it. She grabbed the bag in her mouth, jumped down onto the counter and was going to go off and see what was in it.

Also...Elvis and Angel are constantly grooming each other. They look like monkeys when they do this. Elvis puts his paw around Angel's head while they're doing this.

And of course, sometimes one of them will be lying on an ottoman, get too comfortable, and just fall off. They get up, look around, and start licking themselves casually as if to indicate that they meant to fall. Really hilarious!

Cats are amusing -- like Bo Bo, my Auto will "reject" the other cats by just bringing a paw down on them and hold them still (he usually don't lick).

Cali has gotten stuck behind my nightstand and the wall before -- she jumped in and had herself wedge upside down (well on her front paws) -- she couldn't get herself turned around or get out. I heard her crying, and came in to find a kitty butt up in the air.

Probably the funniest cat story I heard was from a guy at work. His mother in law lives near a field where ducks often congregate, the cat decided he was going to get him a duck. The cat managed to grab the duck from behind (in the wings) and walked the duck onto the porch. At first all they saw was the duck wondering why it was on the porch -- then they saw the cat was in control with his claws dug into the wings.

i had a bulldog & she'd be home alone by her self when i'd be @ work so i got her somethin 2 play with, a kitten well they were inseperable the kitten thought she was a dog i guess, she'd sleep with the dog & once while the dog was asleep started licking her face now you'd say how cute but this is my cat & dog so the cat all the sudden grabs the dogs face with her claws and starts biting her the bulldog which was sleeping simply lifts her head finds the cat & plops her head down on it !

This may be a mean story, but it's true. When my father was a boy, he and his family were sitting out on the porch. My aunt and father can't stand each other to this day, and she has always had cats. She had one then, and they were watching it as it sat beside a stack of bricks (Slow day). As they watched, the stack of bricks fell over for no reason, right on to the cat. My aunt is convinced to this day that somehow Dad had to be responsible for it.

LOL!!!!! Wow!!! Well....my cat (who now is gone :( ) Used to play with and chase squirrels. So one day, we discovered a family of squirrels who recently had babies. We didn't want our kitty to scare the baby squirells so we put him in a little cat house....Its like a dog house but has a door....and yes...it is very comfortable and not cruel. So anyways, one morning we discover that Tommy (the cat) wasn't in his little house and we go for hours looking for him. Also later we discover that the mother squirel got hit by a car :(.... we could tell by her fur pattern that it was her. Eventually we increased our search for tommy into tree tops, and guess what?!!
there he was, in the hole in the tree, curled up with the orphaned baby squirells, sleeping soundly.
Later we knew that we had to do something for the squirrles so we decided to give them to the vets cause they would know how to better take care of them. they were getting to be such a pawful!!! We knew that the vet wouldn't hurt them but make sure that they grow up and set them free. So as we were getting a cage for the babies, along comes tommy gently carring the squirrels in his mouth and one by one, bringing them over from the tree to the cage and genly putting them down and licking them. It was like he was saying good bye!! And in the end...they all lived hapily ever after....until Tommy got hit by a car a couple of weeks later... :( wahh!!!
But there you go....more of a heart touching story than a funny one but i lOVE it!!!

That was a good one. Mine is a very large male Siamese named Buger. I was sitting in the house when I heard a truck pull up. My son brought my dog(Thor) in the house. A friend had came over with his dog in the back of the pickup. I told him he didn't have to worry about Thor, it was Buger that would hurt that dog. He laughed at me. Next thing you know we see Buger walking over to the truck. Dog was growling and barking, Buger jumped on the truck and smacked that dog. That dog howled and never made another noise. Buger jumped down and pranced back over and jumped up on my car. We all just laughed. Buger was the king of his domain.
