Turn the hose on it...
Actually spray a cat with water does help...
Or if you have a sprikler system.. OOOPS the timer went off right as the cat comes on your lawn... :)

You may wanna talk to your neighbor and suggest they put it on a leash, catch the cat on tape and if they keep doing it report it to Animal Control.

Here ya go, finally a helpful, intelligent answer. Along the outskirt of the lawn, I have wooded area, and what I did, was dug up & loosened the dirt, and sprinkled some litter into it, and they all stopped going in the yard.

i don't have the respond for you - yet I rather comprehend your subject. we've that too - with canines. we are residing interior the country - very rural. basically 7 homes on the finished lifeless end highway. We too have a canines - yet our poodle is going exterior to do his employer & is on a leash while he is going out. Our buddies canines - a pit bull - 2 minature dobermans - a small mutt and a few thing else - come over & aggraviate our canines PLUS they poop everywhere! They bark for all time. The animal administration in (this) rural section won't do something till & till somebody is bitten. unhappy huh? The buddies do no longer look to care. PLUS their canines dig holes in my backyard! GRRRRRRR. wager i'm merely venting. thank you for the opening. i will persist with this question for a determination for my travellers as properly.

Get coffee grounds and spread them in your yard. You can get them free at your local Starbucks, if they don't have any out where you can find them just ask. It will keep the cats out and fertilize your yard.
