in situations where pastures are poor is...
a.cattle are too often recumbent causing excessive pasture crushing.
b.interspecies fighting results in muscle bruising on the cattle and lacerations on the horses
c.horses graze pastures too low for cattle to effectively graze.

I'm leaning toward A, but could really use some help figuring this one out,
thanks,
Dex

I have researched both the top brands of dog food and raw diets as I have a dane that is impossible to keep weight on. My vet recommends Purina Pro Plan, but I heard that it's worthless. I think if I stick with kibble I will go Canidae, but I don't know if I want to do that or go raw.

Tell me which one is better and why. I think raw would be really healthy and I know my dogs would love it, but then I worry about diseases. And since Canidae is a good kibble at least then I wouldn't have to worry about viruses, but then I worry is that the best for my dog.

There is so much information out there for and against raw that I am confused and unsure, so hey about you all see if you can help me out. Please give sound reasoning.

My dad has severe allergies, but never has had a problem with poodles. Would he have problems with yorkies? I have seen websites that say they are good for people with allergies, but I just need to make sure.
thank you!

My cat likes to play in the bathroom sink and drink from it too. She doesn't mind getting wet. She also sticks her head in the fish bowl. What about yours?

Ok so my friend helped me get a puppy from these people and it cost $649. I wanted to get my grandma the dog she always wanted and we like him and stuff but he isn't the right one for her. Is it legal to sell it without going back to those people? Or could i swap it with another puppy from someone who is selling it around the same price. I love him but it isn't up to me, cause i live with my grandparents. I cannot talk them out of it and i hate to think of him as an object to 'swap'. But i just wanted to know what you guys think. Cause there is a guy selling a puppy through the newspapers, the same species, age, and it costs $600. $49 less than what i bought so i was going to ask him if I could give him my puppy and he give me that one and he could sell mine to a good home.

My aunt and I are looking at horses for my cousin. She rides my horses, my aunt and grandmas horses, takes lessons, been to many shows, etc. She's a great rider and has lots of experience. We found a great horse for her, but he has foot abscess. Should we take a chance on him?

Hello!!!

I have a female 2006 hermanns tortoise, I bath her every 2 days, and most days she is fed dandelions, hawkbits and cats ears, hawks-beard, plantains, clover, creeping bell-flower (mainly leaves), occassionally rose petals, kale, carrot, potatoe and peppers. and is always given tortoise dust sprinkled over her food.

The lights are on around 12 hours a day, the temp at the hot end is around 93 degrees, but at night it gets so low that i purchased a heat mat, but i heard that tortoises should not have heat mats as it burns them???? she seems ok though.

every day she has a good stroll around the living room sometimes for 20 mins, sometimes for an hour (depends how cold it is).

she is 8cm long and ways 100g

Is everything Im doing correct??????????

Does she sound like a healthy tort to you? i am a beginer and want everything to be perfect and want a happy healthy tort!

thanks
xXx

Hello, I have a Betta fish that I at first tried to feed tropical flakes and pellets. After about a week I decided to stop, I stopped trying to feed him these because he never ate anything. I decided to switch to bloodworms. Luckily he loved these. Now that he realized that I could be trusted to feed him, he was more open to flakes. As a little experiment yesterday I fed him one single flake. He scarfed it down. Now I am wondering how and what I should feed him. I got rid of the pellets, so now I need how much and how often I should feed flakes and bloodworms. Please help me out on this one, I don't want to overfeed or make a bad combo and make him constipated or something. Thanks in advance for all answers.

I am planning on re-setting my tank and re-cycling it. I am planning on keeping 6 Phatom Tetras and 4 Kuhli Loaches. I need some sort of centerpiece fish. What do you think would be the best centerpiece fish.

last saturday when i wasnt home, my 1 year old daughter got to him and "cuddled" him...to death. There was a fair amount of blood involved. When i got home and my hubby told me i just lost it and cryed for 2 days straight. I feel so guilty, and so sick thinking about it, i know my little girl can't be blamed because she had no idea. but i am completely traumatised now, what an awful way to go. Has it happened to anyone else?? how do you get over it...
