I'm so sorry for your loss, but am glad to know that Flunge had a nice, long life.
When our last family cat died, we buried him under a tree...he used to like to sit under that tree, so it seemed appropriate.
Our oldest cat is currently 17. When she goes, we'll bury her at my mom & dad's house...We used to live there, and there is a particularly sunny corner of the yard that she used to enjoy. I hope she'll appreciate being placed there forever.

Dig a 3ft hole.
Gently place cat in there.
Say your words.
Cover with flowers.
Recover grave and plant flowers ontop.
that's what my family does :)
r.i.p. Flunge!

I'm soo sorry to hear about your cat! Always terrible to loose someone in the family.
To answer your question:
I've buried 2 cats in the backyard, gave them a little tombstone as well.. Just because they deserved it!

I'm sorry that your cat died. When my cat died of cancer, we put it in a small box and we put in little toys, treats, and w/e else she liked in there. We also added a little note saying how much we loved her. Then we wrapped her up in a little blanket and buried her in our backyard.

When my cat passed I buried her in the garden and planted a blue rose bush over top of her that way I can visit her every morning while watering my garden. I miss her soo much.
So sorry about your loss. :(

When my cat died, my Vet referred me to an animal memorial park that creamated him and then I had his ases scattered.
You can contact your Vet or local Humane Society or City Animal Control.

there are animal cemeteries that you locate by either calling your local vet or googling, but a cheaper and in my opinion, more personal, would be just to bury your baby in the ole back yard. I would want him to be close still...
sorry to hear of your loss, sarah.

Cremation. Because if I moved from my house, they would still be buried there, and I couldn't stand to be without them. Its costly, but all the remains are with me forever.
