It a "geo system 80" the bulbs came with, I believe it a 35 gallon 31'' long x 14'' wide x 18'' high.

Do you know how many Kelvin degrees it is? 6,700K and 10,000K are two of the best temperatures of light for plants... What size tank do you have (how tall is it most importantly?)? The taller the tank, the more water light has to penetrate, so you would need more intense lighting for a taller tank... Contact me with any updates or questions.

EDIT: If the bulbs came with the hood, they will grow plants, but not necessarily as well as a specialized bulb might... Bulbs with a color temperature of 10,000K and 6,700K will be the best for plant growth, but standard lighting works (but will not promote plants to grow as healthily...)...
