i want to be a dog breder when i grow up. wut will i need to know and wut will i need to do? wwut kind of job should i get so i can have the money to get a good male and female dog? this is what i want to know. THX! :P ♥

Is there any sort of thermometer or something I can do to keep my fish from breaking the tank thermometer?

This is my fourth thermometer, the ones from Wal Mart, and it does well enough but I have a 5" albino oscar that loves to run into it and make it snap against the glass, or throw things at it.
I thought that maybe the thermometers were just old, but it started getting to be a hassle replacing them.

A few days ago, I saw Pico throwing rocks and running into it until the thermometer broke again, in similar condition as the others.


Is there anything I can do?

A lot of answers I read are show your dog whose alpha. How about show your dog some love and attention. How about letting your dog run of leash in a field for an hour, go home feed her a treat, than enjoy watching her take a nap. How about actually taking your dog out in public with you rather then shutting her up in a kennel or the house all day. You can't keep a dog locked in the house then expect her to be a social butterfly with excellent manners, then try to bully her into the behavior you want. Don't you think a dog has needs besides who eats first and who moves out of whose way first?

I am getting tired of hearing people complain about their horses attitude or manners, when they are causing the problem.

So many times I hear or see someone saying "they are fine with everyone else but when I ....... ...... ....."

HELLO!!

It is like a mathematical equation, if something jibes, then remove it. If you aren't sure what the problem is, then take a good hard look - it will be there, in front of your eyes, you just have to stop being proud about yourself and your abilities, and get help with your riding or handling issues.

Maybe you should just admit the horse is too much for you, and sell them to someone who is perfect for them before you ruin them.

Sometimes it is just a case of a personality mismatch but both you and the horse will be happier with someone else.

A horse is not a machine; if you want perfection and absolute control, get a quad bike or a bicycle - not some poor horse!

I'm going to have a few of these questions because I need about 100 dogs and their heart rates(just use your hand). I'm going to do some myself but theres no way I can get 100 unless I get some help so thank you! as i am thinking of getting one for my cob as he has no whithers and having problems fitting any gp saddles at the moment and no one has a treeless saddle for me to try were i live.if do buy one what treeless saddle will be the best.i will only be mainly hacking and schooling in it but would like to do abit jumping aswell

I have two albino cory catfish, one male molly and two female mollies in a ten-gallon tank. I am not sure when to expect possible breeding, but the one dalmatian molly (the other mollies are both white) seems to be getting bigger. Is there not enough space for them to breed?
Earlier I tried putting both of the females in a clear breeding tank in the same general aquarium and they did not seem to like it.
Should I try breeding the mollies or should I return them and buy guppies?

I'd rather not use a harsh chemical substance on him. I've tried a natural flea collar that used essential oils, a flea powder made from various herbs... nothing seems to work and he is still scratching like mad. I'm about ready to use Advantage or Frontline, unless someone has a tried and true suggestion for me.

My mom finally agreed to get a dog a few weeks ago. Kinda sad considering I'm 17 and not 10 lol.

So we've been researching a lot of dogs. My mom does not want any big dogs, not even medium sized dogs. She wants a Chihuahua b/c they are small and my cousin has a Chihuahua and we play with it a lot so we know what to expect.

But I don't want one. Yeah they are cute, but I want a bigger dog, not too big but just slightly. And a lot of people we know have them.

So I tried to sell my Mom on a beagle. She says they are too big.

So what the hell is there I can get?

I don't want those small, fluffy dogs. I want a dog that gets to like 15-20 lbs I guess.

My friend have 4 RES turtles, 2 female and 2 male. So i asked for 1 male and 1 female. Right now i'm getting ready for it, and i'm just wondering where i should put the fish tank. Near the sunlight? or Out of the sunlight? And i'm not sure what size of tank to get, and i don't really won't the top is open cuz i have a cat. And also the type of filter and heat lamp i need for them?
And any other suggestions would be REALLY appreciated. :D

I have a kitty that has really sharp nails. I don't want to get her declawed because I'm afraid it might be hard for her to use her litter box. I want to use one of my new nail files to file down her nails a little so that they are not too sharp, but are still long enough for her to use her liter. So is it okay to do this?

Ok I have a 55 gal tank with chiclids. I have had fish for 3 years so I'm sorta experienced with them. Recently I transfered into a 55 gal tank and slowly added more fish. My tank is equiped with two filers a 50 gal filter marine bio and a 75 gal filter marine bio. I clean the tank reguarly and perform water changes about once every 2 weeks or so. Ive never had problems before but within the last week the tank has become completely foggy and the nitrate levels are very unsafe at this point. I did a water change added some stuff and still no luck what should I do? Please help one of my chiclids is about to die =(

I think i just encounted a rabid dog. His eyes were human-like and he had foam coming from his mouth. Although I was just told he wasn't rabid, he was just hot. The person told me this because he ran from me. He ran; curved halfway ( as if going to chase his tail) and barked. But his bark was odd sounding.


PLEASE HELP! if he is rabid i need to contact animal control bc he didnt have a tag or collar on.

i mean she only ever stayed close by and if i shake a tin of treats she comes straight home and enjoys a treat but last night she never came home at all, not even for a feed. she in nuetered and always loves to be close to be near us. why did she go missing for so long? i even went walking the streets calling her name but nothing. she has returned now tho and should i let her out anymore?

my cat has been missing for 4 months! then just 4 days ago, he showed up out of no where. i let him in and he acts like he never left! he lays in the same place! but his brother ( who i've had since he left) keeps hissing at him, and getting mad and grumpy when he smells him.

can any one explain what has happen? how do i get my cats to get a long? please help before theres a cat fight!!!!
