I had one that ate hamburger pickle slices and then ask for more! Naturally, I obliged--it is cheaper than cat food.

My cat has eaten french fries before, which is odd to me considering I've never seen or heard of a cat eating a french fry. Though unlike you it was not intentional. Fried and, really any, human foods are not good for pets.

I also had a friend who's cat ate some hay bail string... That didn't end up too well because it had to have surgery, which is never good. I've heard of cats eating house plants that make them deathly ill also. Just another reminder of the fact that, when you have pets, it's like having a baby around, you seriously need to watch what they're doing and what you put in your house that becomes accessible to them.

Well this isn't food but I had a cat that ate a piece of a crayola crayon. I didn't find out this until it tried to pass it. The cat was up stairs howling like a banshee. (Of course I was concerned) So I ran upstairs to investigate. The cat was trying to pass the crayon. Thank goodness I worked for the RED CROSS. I donned my plastic gloves and assisted with the removal of a piece of a green crayola crayon. This cat had a plastic fetish it would eat anything plastic mind you it never ate another crayon. Silly cat.

Dog food.I feed the cat first and she sits and waits till the dog food is put down then she eats a mouth full and then the dog eats. The dog actually waits for the cat to taste the food first.
I asked the vet and she said it was okay as long as the cat eats mostly cat food. She said its a domiance thing. The cat is showing the dog who is boss. Funny thing is I had the dog 6 years and the cat a few months.

I'm convinced my cats are either possessed or cats from hell, because I have tried everything to keep them from my Christmas tree. Tin foil under the tree didn't work, so I tried using both types of stuff was suppose to keep cats away from plants. One was small granules, which they ate and punked up. The other was a spray on, which they licked off.

They also nibble on the broom if we forget and leave it out, and they will try to eat packing popcorn if we don't keep an eye on them. I have no idea why they do it, because there is plenty of food for them to eat - it's always out for them.

XD Cantaloupe, spaghetti with tomato sauce, cream of asparagus soup... our cats love tidbits of almost everything.

Once I gave our cat a noodle, and somehow it stuck to her coat where she couldn't reach it. But then our hen came along, and got within two inches of the cat, thinking about pecking the noodle off her. But she got to a certain point and they ran off as fast as they could go in each direction. Funny critters.

My old cat liked anything bad for him...cake, donuts, chicken nuggets, hamburgers, etc.
Our new cat likes inedible things...String, plastic, ribbon, cat toys, cigarette cellophane(dug out of the garbage), and a couple normal things like mice and bugs.

The rind of a cooked butternut squash.
My kitty hangs out in the kitchen while I cook. If I drop anything it's rare if it hits the ground! She runs over and gobbles it up before I can bend down to pick it up.
Silly kitties.

Rubber bands. For some reason, many cats like to chew on them and eat them. Then I find the pieces in their poop when I clean the litterbox.
