This is something cats do. sometimes they go for days, and still come back.

Generally it is the male cats that go wondering around. When females go missing they are either trapped somewhere like in a tree with a dog stalking them so they can't come down or someone stole them mistaking them for strays. My one female cat went missing for 3 weeks because she jumped in a friends car without anyone noticing. She got out of the car at the friends house and came home but because it was so far it took a while. Sometimes they get run over without you knowing. It will be difficult to lock your cat in the house because she is used to being let outside. My new cat is an indoor purebred Siamese because I didn't want anybody to steal her. But she has been kept inside since kitten days. Good luck!

a similar component happend to me the day earlier immediately, different than it became a rabbit. Cats be conscious of who they love, no remember what lives in the back of you. All you may desire to rigidity approximately is a hawk getting him, different cats, or canine. he will ultimately come finding for you when you consider that he's castrated, he clearly does not desire to look for a mate, so it heavily isn't too long. What i might do is place his famous treats, or nutrition outdoors the doorstep, in the back and front. we've a cat that is a male, and he's never been an outsidde cat. yet, some years in the past, we lived in an aprtment, and he snuck out the front door at night. WE have been on the 2d floor, and all of the doorways and each little thing regarded a similar. at 2 a.m. he got here back meowing on the door.

I live in a neighbour hood where there are lots of cats.I have watched one particular cat .She comes round our place and eats our dogs food. She goes to other places and gets fed.My dog chases her out everytime but she always comes back. You could enquire with if she has spent any time round their places. We had a cat that disappeared for 10days and appeared out of the blue.I still wonder to this day where it stayed during this time. You cannot lock them up indefinately as they need freedom .

i wouldnt worry too much, they like to explore.
maybe she turned up in someones back garden and they fed her.
this happened with one of my cats. she was missing for 3 days untill a neighbour came round and said her friend had been feeding our cat because she thought she was a stray.
apparently our cat like pedigree chum better than whiskers so she didnt come home lol
she was only a few doors down lol. had to go round and physically grab her and feed the same stuff lol.

your cat might of saw some other animal and falowed it or goten scared off by a diffrent animal and it might of goten disoreanted or interested in something... if this is a cat that you regularly let out i dont think you should keep it inside because it happend with our cat and when we tried to keep her in teh house she would run out the door any chanse she got and wouldnt come back in for a while because she wanted to be out.. but as soon as we started letign her out on a regular basis again she would come home every night ... i think you should jest make shure your cat has a coller with a tag incase it gets lost and let it out so id dosnt start tryign to escape

I guess a curious cat of this age went exploring, and got shut in somewhere. If she goes missing again, visit your neighbours and ask them to check sheds and garages, etc. She was obviously happy to come home again.

ive just adopted a 13month old cat from rspca, i have had her microchipped for about £20 so if she goes missing my address is put in the chip so she will be returned safely. You can ask a vet to do it.

She may have got caught in someones garage, if it was open and she happened to go in and explore....
Or maybe someone tried to keep her..... but she escaped and came back to you
Its always best to keep your cat indoors if possible, it is always safer, and they will live a long healthy life
