I have two albino cory catfish, one male molly and two female mollies in a ten-gallon tank. I am not sure when to expect possible breeding, but the one dalmatian molly (the other mollies are both white) seems to be getting bigger. Is there not enough space for them to breed?
Earlier I tried putting both of the females in a clear breeding tank in the same general aquarium and they did not seem to like it.
Should I try breeding the mollies or should I return them and buy guppies?

DON'T put dalmatian molly's into a breeder, the only thing you will accomplish, is getting them stressed out and aborting the fry it might carry

The gestation period is 28 days
I always had between 5-15 fry survive in the main tank, and haven't experienced the mom eating them either

Just buy some liveplants for your tank where the fry can hide, and they will be absolutely fine

i don't particularly like putting the female in the breeder bnecause it does stress them out. Instead i let them have the babies in the tank where i have alot of floating plants and rocks with small crevises that the adults can't fit in. I then catch the babise and put them in the breeding net
