I just got a german shepherd female puppy and have no idea what to name her. I have 3 cats that I call Choice, Chance and Freedom and a rottie called Undertow from the band Tool (undertow) I am out of pet names HELP

My kitten G, has been throwing up green liquid with no signd of any dry or wet food in it. He has a vet appointment for monday morning but do you think that i should take him before hand? Does this mean that he is deathly sick or is there something i can do to help him out? please help

what combo's i needed to buy the vet said that i should know that "those" vaccines are outdated or come from different countries and may not be safe. i cannot find proof of that on the internet. maybe i just am not searching the right way?? is my vet saying that just because they want my money?? has anyone else heard of this?? does anyone know where i can find evidence that this is true?? i definitely don't want to endager my pets!!
i called twice and the first time i was asking about my own pets and the tech never said anything about them being dangerous. she gave me the combo my pets needed and that was that. the second call i made was for my moms dog and the tech went on about how dangerous it could be. why would one say nothing and the other go on and on about it not being safe?? they were from the same vets.

We have 2 male cats and 2 female cats, and both of the males are neutered, the females have not been spayed. When our females come in heat, our males still hump the heck out of the females, even though the males are neutered. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it unusual for a neutered male to do this?

my 5month old kitten has blood on both his hands and he seems to be clawing at his mouth violently or chewing on his nails??? not sure. he doesnt appear to be choking on anything? could it be a loose tooth he is trying to knock out or injured nail or is this a sign of rabies? he was sort of snarling a little but now he is fine sitting and purring.

I pulled it off with a pair of tweezers, got it head and all, it wasn't really burrowed in by the looks of it, but the area is very red so I guess it might of been? Then I applied neosporin to the area. Should I take him to the vet? He has a tick & flea medication already maybe I should switch over to a different kind? I use revolution, but I heard frontline is top notch? Will my dog be ok?


I don't know how he managed to pick it up, we've never had a problem with ticks before, is there a possibility they came from our palm trees? We recently cut them and left the fronds in our backyard, might that be a new source of ticks?

This might sound dumb but my friend said you can't because you will cut off whiskers? I don't see any though and I've never owned a dog before my current one. Hes a mini poodle and just has mangy looking hair i normally use dog clippers and cut it down but want to do face as well?

I have a cocker spaniel who broke out after we used Frontline on him as a puppy. His vet has recommended we try Advantage. He currently has fleas.

How long will the Advantage take to kill the fleas that are already on him? Will it kill them or does he need to be treated first? Is Advantage any better on sensitive skin than frontline is?

She has a very strong personality. I used to call her Fluffy, but now I, and most of the neighbors, call her Psyho B****.

She only weighs about 5 pounds but she has been the terrror of at least a 3 block area. Not only does she chew off trailer hitches and attack mail boxes (I have had to pay to replace 4 in the last 2 months) but now she has made it a mission to subjugate the pit bull next door. That poor dog shivers in fear when he sees her coming.

Do you think medication would help? The baseball bat didn't do much.

I kinda like that crazy little feline, so I want to do the right thing.

There were the key rumors I had as a kid, one was that if you look into your cat's eyes they can read your mind I always thought it was possible so... is it?

Also you know how people say "they can sense fear..." I always thought that it applied to dogs too, again is that true or not?

Because every cat I seem to go near cuddles with me even if I walk away and every dog I go near wants to bite me. So I wonder do the cat's read my mind and sense something like lonelyness and do the dogs sense that I don't like them and are they taunting me??

He weighs about 25#'s, short,blk,really smart! He's hi-energy,low maintinance, but the last couple of days, he shivers/trembles, and won't leave my side. As if tryn to tell me "I'm not well". I ran out of wet dog food and she only eats wet and dry mixed together. I order special dog food online, so it's not coming for about 3 days or so. What can I use as a subsitute (for now)?

People that give advice on training and behavior are they really trainers? Do they really know anything about animal behavior? It is sad to see the bad information given out to people looking for help. I wish that people would not even attempt to answer a question when they do not know what they are talking about. I am not talking about the best answer! LOL He got it right.
