Well I'm moving and my mom is making us keep our 2 cats in the basement because she doesn't want them to pick at our carpets and ruin them. I told her we should get them de clawed because I really don't want them in the basement and she said that you are suppose to get them declawed when they are young. I don't want them to be in the basement because it's going to be unfinished. Is there anything I can do to make the basement nice because we aren't allowed to get it finished? or if I can get them de clawed at an old age? or if there is like some way to teach them not to pick at our carpet..?

My 10 week old golden retriever is really cute, and sweet. I love her a lot, but about 3 or 4 times a day she just goes into these chewing modes where she bites everyone in our house cause she wants something to chew on. She bites our ankles, hands and whatever she can reach. We tell her NO! or NO BITE! but it doesnt work. Last night she riped a hole in my jeans. I'm taking her to a puppy class at petsmart on sunday, but I want to know how to help her with her problem. We often give her toys to chew on, but then she drops it and goes for us again.

All answers welcome!

Our family's shepherd has been acting odd the last few weeks, he is becoming more aggressive nipping at the kids, chasing cars and and acting as if he doesnt know who we are until he right on top of us. He has never acted this way before and has always been gentle and calm. Should i be worried for him?

I am an english rider and I have been riding english for about 6 or 7 years (im only 13, so this is the whole time Ive been riding) Ive never ridden in a western saddle, besides at the fair rides and such when i was little. At my barn, they are holding a show and im entering it with my highstrung horse Carmel. The only problem is that i have to ride western bc it is one of the show requirements. The 2 events im doing so far are jumping 3 jumps in a row and cantering barrels. Im only worried about jumping with a western saddle. help, how do i do it??!!

THANKS :)

OK. i have a 8month old cat that has an extra little skin or fat? on his belly. if he is standing up then you can visibly see it and when he runs, it kind of jiggles. i have read that this is a possible sign of ringworms. Should i take him to the vet or can i go to a pet store and go buy something for him?PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! and he's had the problem for possibly 5 months now.

Will moving a pup to an channel island make it poorly?? we sold a pup to a guy who lives on the channel island and he emailed me saying it's really poorly and it might not make it??
It had a clean bill of health when we had it, and all the other pup's are ok.
my dog had a litter of 8 and all the other seem to be fine.
He wants to us to pay all vet bill's what do we do?
