Dog barfed 4 times 10 minutes after taking his monthly heartworm preventative. Should I give him another one? It was not the medication that made him sick, he had gotten into some food he should not have gotten into, chinese take out, and then played WWF smackdown with a buddy of his. So the tummy upset did not come from the medication. Should I go ahead and give him another? Im pretty much sure he threw up the first one completely.

How does it work, I mean I know that it's the size of a small grain of rice and you put it on the back of you pet, but what happens if your pet is micro chipped and goes missing.

I've lost my kitten and I am so worried about him, he isn't micro chipped but, if I ever find him I might get him micro chipped.

My kitten is an indoor kitten.

Hi Guys: I just adopted this new puppy from a breeder down the street. She said her dog got out and so she didn't know what kind of dog it was - it looks like a pitbull daschund mix to me.

Anyway, it's been biting rather aggressively - she said it's only 3 months old. Any recommendations?

I also don't know WHAT in the world to name it. My mom and brother think it's so ugly, but I think he's absolutely adorable. So any names you can come up with would be great.

I've heard of a vegetarian diet for dogs with allergies or G.I. problems, but to make him less aggressive.

I have several male cats and I want to prevent them from getting crystals in their urithra's. I've read that most dry foods made today are made with high acids to help prevent the so called "old kind of crystals" but new kinds are present in modern breeds that have little to do with acid intake. Does anyone know what I can do to prevent this from happening to my other cats?

I recently had to put a cat down that was in the final throws of a battle with urinary crystals, his surgeries failed to prevent further flare-ups and he had to suffer a lot before he died. Many people on here were telling a recent asker that she shouldn't have her cat put to sleep for this condition because it's cruel, but I say just the opposite. I really don't want to put my wife and family through another situation like that again.

Racoons live in my backyard and one of them keeps trying to "mess around" with my cat. It actually did get busy with her a few times. Know she is pregnat, because when i went to go get her spayed they refused because she was going to have a litter. there are not many other boys cats around because i live out in the middle of no where with not many people near by. Is it possible that my cats babis daddy is the racoon?

Okay so my poor greyhound, Annie, got her tail broken in a door. We at least think that its broken. It's Labor Day weekend on a Sunday so vet care isn't really an option. The wound isn't very big (less than a pencil eraser) but it won't quit bleeding! I am very concerned and was wondering if anyone knew what to do to make the blood clot and quit bleeding. She is doing well for now, the bleeding pretty much stopped but I want to make sure that it doesn't start up again. My mom went to go get "Blood stop" to help but I need to know what else I can do for her! I am giving her lots of water because of the blood loss and am with her as we speak. Please help, I REALLY appreciate it!! :D

For example.... If there was an 'obviously' stray ***** living in and around my area, killing and leaving birds in my garden and also leaving its mess in my garden and making a load of noise during the night, disturbing my families sleep... Do I (or anyone) have the right (legally) to capture and end this cats life? It could not be rehoused/homed as it is a vicious, scabby,evil beast

ok i have one cat named pepper and she is about 1 year old now. i've raised her too by the way so she's very attached to me. ok here's the thing. i recently was given a rescued kitten from the street. i named her creme. i was scared at first of bringing her home to my pepper but they got along GREAT! pepper really took the role of the big sister. it seems and creme is happy but sometimes just after she wakes up from a long nap she starts crying hysterically. so i get her and i feed her a tiny bit of milk and she calms down.

is she having nightmares of maybe her earlier life or just anything at all? or is it something else?

how can i help her???

do you tip the groomer "and" the bather?

So when I first got my cat he came into the house and sprayed along the wall under my kitchen table. We cleaaned it up and had no problems after. Well for 6 or so months he never touched the spot again. but just recently he has been peeing under there. Its really annoying because the only thing that gets cat pee out is that natures miracle and its 20dollars a gallon and it takes like 3 gallons to soak my carpet. So my question is why is he doing this? A friend said that he was in heat... can he go into heat if he is neutered? Do they pee everywhere when they are in heat? He is an otherwise perfectly healthy cat. Any answers would be helpful!

I won 2 goldfish at a carnival. And they gave us one of those lil tanks that are like 2 gallons. I asked my mom to buy me this tank at wal-mart it was $20. She said no. It was like 8 gallons had a pump and a light. But i am afraid my fish will die. I take a straw about every half hour and blow into the tank for about like 2 minutes trying to get them oxygen. I dont have a job cuz im like 14. What should I do. I only have 4 dollars left. Any home remidies?

I have a betta that was normally dark blue. He is kept in large glass with distilled water at room temp. Recently his body changed to gray. He wouldn't eat and just sat there all day. I warmed up the water with some sun and changed the food. I changed his water and he's been sick for 4 days so far. No gasping or anything. I thought maybe it's gyrodactylus but no idea. Does anyone know of any pictures of it? Any ideas?
