I have a betta that was normally dark blue. He is kept in large glass with distilled water at room temp. Recently his body changed to gray. He wouldn't eat and just sat there all day. I warmed up the water with some sun and changed the food. I changed his water and he's been sick for 4 days so far. No gasping or anything. I thought maybe it's gyrodactylus but no idea. Does anyone know of any pictures of it? Any ideas?

I doubt it's gyrodactylus, that would be a real long shot, but it's quite possibly any one of several parasites.

The distilled water is also a problem as it can lead to poor fish health, drastically lowered pH levels and other general water problems.

I would suggest you slowly acclimate the fish to tap water as you also treat for parasites with a broad spectrum parasite medication such as clout.

It could be columnaris.... they tend to lose colour / get grey patches and then 'fluff up' which looks like fungus (buts its not a fungal disease)

Its very common with fighters.... only thing Ive ever had any sucess to combat it is Myxazin from Waterlife products... if they are kept in small containers its best to use bare bottom rather then gravel as columnaris like to breed in mucky gravel

you shouldn't use distilled water. basically it's water with all of the nutrients removed.

try treated tap water or spring water

Sounds like your problems are at an end. The fish is very near death I'm afraid.
