It's not right by you, but if you have the time, make the trip to Lancaster (actually Landisville) to that Pet Place: http://www.thatpetplace.com/

I've only had occassion to be in that area a few times, but I make that store a stop if I'm anywhere within 2-3 hours driving distance. The place is bigger than a Super WalMart, and the section with just the live fish is the size of most Petco or PetSmart stores (their entire store, that is!). The prices are pretty reasonable as well, so I do some online business with them too. If you have any questions, their staff can actually give you intelligent answers.

PS - take a list of the things you actually want or need - this place makes it far too easy to do a lot of impulse buying!

Dont get caught out,you need to do a web search or phone up because if you go to a place by chance..you might find that the tropical fish shop is closed down and out of business.

I'm not sure about in your area, but I buy all of my tropical fish from PetSmart. They are all healthy and if you happen to get one and it dies within 14 days- they replace it for free.
