Hi Guys: I just adopted this new puppy from a breeder down the street. She said her dog got out and so she didn't know what kind of dog it was - it looks like a pitbull daschund mix to me.

Anyway, it's been biting rather aggressively - she said it's only 3 months old. Any recommendations?

I also don't know WHAT in the world to name it. My mom and brother think it's so ugly, but I think he's absolutely adorable. So any names you can come up with would be great.

Here's a picture - I hope the link works!!

thanks Elke - can you believe the breeder couldn't find anyone else to adopt him? Aside from the biting he is such a cutie pie. his underbite is pretty severe though - do you think he will need doggie braces?

Shep: nope that was the only one in the litter that survived. After I adopted him, a friend of mine told me that there were others, but that my little cutie actually killed all his littermates. I think she was just saying that to be mean and hurtful because she is jealous

Shanna

I wasn't planning on neutering him - he is SUCH a perfect example of his kind. Great temperment (aside from the biting) and I know it's hard to tell from teh picture but he has a great coat. I was thinking of breeding at least 1 litter . . .. let me know when you get your mini black lab ready and we can meet. I only ask for 1 pup from the litter.

What a darling puppy!

Here's some ideas for names:
Fluffy
Sweety
Cutie
Spot
Fido

At three months, he's not biting aggressively! That's just play. Whack him over the head. Once you've killed a few brain cells that should solve the biting problems.

Is it a girl or boy? If it's a girl, you definitely should breed her once, just so she has the experience. But register her first! The Continental Kennel Club should fit the bill.

My goodness what a dog!! It is absolutely adorable.
I think you should name it Vampiro, Gremlin or how about Precious. Will it be registered?
I think you should feed it bad children and people that annoy you. That just might take care of the aggressive behavior.
I have a very cute doggie bag that you can carry it around in. You will be taking him with you everywhere, I hope. A beautiful dog like that needs to be showed off.

Do they have anymore? I want one because that is the accessories to have in today's society.

Well, since there are no more you will just have to let your little darling breed with one of my dogs (teacup shepherds). We can create hybrids. I hear hybrids are healthier and smarter anyway so our dogs will make some wonderful new pets and they will be perfect. Did you want the doggie bag to carry him around in?

Aww isn't that the cutest thing you ever saw!

I think you should name him bubbles! He is so adorable that I think it has an air about this name!

Not to demanding just right for that face! wow His teeth look great too. So white! I bet you just in love with him!

I know I would be. Please give him a hug and a tummy rub for me ok!

Congrats on the new whatever pup!

OMG! How cuuuuuuuutttttiiiiiieeeeee patooootttiiieeee!!
I think you should name that little bundle of joy Schnookums!
I think you are wrong on the mix though, I think it's a mix between a poodle and a shihtzu!
The only one huh?? Dang, I was really hoping to get one to add to my teacup breeding stock.

You got a deal, Believer! As soon as he's ready, we'll breed my teacup schnoodly doodly to him!!

If your pup is a girl, I'd go with one of the more popular stripper names ...
Sparkles
Tootles
Hooter
Seems to fit a pretty dog like the one pictured.

Gees. I would use a shock collar on that... uhmm.. puppy.. Normally I don't think you should use a collar on a dog under a year.. but you might want to keep on top of this thi... I mean pup..

You could call him.. Pumpkin or Sweetie... Something that would make people think he isn't going to kill them ?!?

Since it's part German, call it Das Pithund! [das= the, feminine, masculine, der] hund=dog] or, Daspit or Derpit!
