I am getting another puppy in a week or so.
I have a greyhound pup already.
What breed of dog other than another greyhound should i get?
There are a few dogs i have already had these are:
Alsation,
Border collie,
Staffy and
Whippet.
Are there any that would get along with a greyhound pup????
If not are there any other breeds, that would get along???

Also my friend is getting a greyhound.
If you can please say anything that would help or just a good website would help!?

I have a 55 gallon fish tank

heater set at 80 degrees not sure if thats good was told it was
penguin bio wheel power filter 330
air wall on one side of tank
air stone on other wanted to make sure was enough oxygen
ph is 7.0
amonia and nitrate and nitrites are all perfect,

i have 5 danios used to have 6
had like 12 tetras lost them all
have 3 geromie if i spelled that right, and i had 6
3 snails,
1 platy but i had 2
6 guppies and have zero
1 small frog have not seen him in days
i keep getting different answers from any fish store i talk to. I have not replaced my filters yet i was told not till 3 months.
tank is crystal clear,
i have these baskets in my filter that i dont know what to do with them, it says its for filter media, what is good to put in there. i feed once a day and i used to do 3 times but was told it will kill fish which i think happed with tetras and guppies, i only feed once in the am, and i also have a pleco but i had 2. my fish are dying one by one now help?

Seriously, im watching tv with the family, and I can clear out the room in less than a second. Why am I cursed with skunk-smelling gas? I mean, I eat healthy! And its not just today, it's everyday!!!
Is there a biological explanation to my problem? (and no its not like I do it on purpose)....some help on how to stop being so "gassy" would also be very helpful :-)

My dog has bladder stones and was given Hills S/D but it only comes as a can food and my dog will not eat it. She's used to dry food. Is there a dry food alternative?

just got my first fish tank set up and ready to put fish in. i was sold two male and one female sword tails. now i learn that there should be more females than males. will it be all right anyway or shall i try and swop one male for another female? i have a 70 l tank and plan to have guppies and mollies as well. can anybody give some advise as i feel badly advised by the pet shop??? thanks jo-an

My friend has a cat probably 2-3 years old, she recently got him from another friend of mine. He's always been a healthy cat. Recently since the change in homes, he's begun drooling & slobbering a lot, but also he has stopped using his litter box and just goes anywhere. His former home was a single older adult home, his new home is a young couple with young children & a very small dog who really doesn't bother him. Any ideas about whats going on with her cat?

I have a german shepherd - X. She's about 8 yrs. (estimated from SPCA) Occasionally, on walks, her hind legs would quiver and she would lean backwards and sideways. I was assured she didn't have hip-dysplasia (they did X-rays). This started about 6 months into getting her: about a year ago.

Can it be hip dysplasia?... someone said she's seizuring?

So me and some friends were at ther was this baby bunny (maybe like 2 months old) running around the yard, and it runs out in the street and this bastard comes driving up in a van and my friend yelled to watch out for the bunny, but the driver ignored him and HIT the bunny! the bunny's leg was bleeding and there was blood all over the street. It was squirming around and like crying in pain! I almost started to cry...i felt SOOO bad for it. I wanted to help it...like anything! Just hold it, comfort it...It was very hard to watch. It eventually dragged itself to some shade under a plant and laid there. But What should I have done? I wanted to call animal control to maybe help it, but i thoght we should've put it out of it's misery and kill it. But I couldn't do that. Ahhh!! It was probably one of the saddest things i've EVER seen.

i adopted a cat from a shelter 3 years ago and yesterday i decided it was time for a kitten but my older cat doesnt seem to like the kitten at all!! my older cat did hiss and growl before we got the cat but now it is out of control!! i am giving tmy older cat more attention but idk what to do! i've been keeping the kitten in my room but the older cat keeps scratching at the door wanting to get in!! what should i do?

Let me preface this with the fact that he's got an appointment for the vet ASAP But please let me know if anyone has any ideas.

My 11 year old terrier has developed a strange set of symptoms. He's always had the little dog shakes, but it's recently gotten much worse. In the past two weeks, he's begun having real trouble on the stairs, listing to the left of the staircase as he climbs. His back left leg has also begun to shake ALOT more and he's holding his tail crooked. Out of nowhere, he has also started waking us up at night demanding to go out - crying.

He's had a small amount of persistent diarrhea...yet he's not having accidents in the house during the day while we're at work. His appetite seems fine. He's a little overweight, but not obese. What the heck??? Did he have a stroke, does he have a bladder infection? Please let us know if anyone has an ideas - we're veteran dog owners, and this has us confused and worried. (We will be going to the vet very soon.)

I have a schnauzer and a sheltie and my schnauzer, Lexi, just completely hates me. She doesnt greet me when I come home, she runs away when I come near her and the thing is, I'm always so freakin nice to her! I take care of her way more than my mom and she LOVES my mom. i have a large female cat. And an enclosed litter box. There is also a blue matt (made for in front of a litter box), in front of the box. My cat pee's on that. i have watched her do it. and i dont understand. she never used to. and i am very good with cleaniing the litter daily. what can i do to stop this. if she doesnt quest i might have to get rid of her.

He used to be gold/orange with like 1-2 white patches, and I went to school for a few weeks and came back and now he is completely white! My family says they aren't sure when he started turning white. Is there something wrong with him? Will he be okay? He seems fine, but I want him to stay that way! What should I do?

I put some kernels of corn in the tank....not sure what got into me.....but the snail LOVED it...so I put more in the next day...now he/she is hardly moving. When I poked at him/her about a dozen little air bubbles came out of his/her shell. His/her little door is closed and barely moving. Maybe she's just digesting...I hope???
