i have taken two baby bass from a lake in Texas, and put them into a fish tank (for what reasons, i do not know). What could be the worst outcome of this, include a discription.

That depends on your definition of "worst":

1) They could die from improper care.

2) They could fight and kill each other.

3) They could live a long happy life and grow to be 2-3 feet in length forcing you to continually buy larger and larger tanks to keep them in.

4) They could not only live themselves, but you might have a male and female that decide to spawn and lay 1,000 eggs in your tank.

5) Another fisherman may have videotaped you taking the fish and your license plate and turned you in to the Texas fish and game officials who are just about to come knocking at your door (some states require you to have a permit to take undersized fish, or to keep them in captivity, just so you know).

UH, they die dude.
I am guessing you are a Bass fisherman and you wanted to study what Bass do up close and personal. Let me tell you that what you have done is illegal. Bass like people have genes, the bigger ones tend to live longer and be smarter than the small ones( not like people ). You, living in Texas, should know better seeing as your state has the save the Bass or save a fish ecology program where when you catch a big one there is a protocol for the fish if you choose to participate. Look it up on the Texas DNR web site.

The fish dying. Bad on the fishes part. Your part oh a $200 fine for keeping indigenous fish at your home.

Find out wildlife laws where you are.
You could be facing stiff fines. (I know, fishing kills them, but there are strict laws about animals you can hunt and fish)

Chances are they will die.
Water chemistry has to be perfect for them to live, and lake water isn't usually widely available. Even if it were, you'd have to change it, like, everyday.

well, the worst is the fish could die, you need to make sure you feed them, nothing should be bad about this, except for a fish may die.

Well they could die. I doubt you need a description on that.
