Female dogs when they are in heat secreat a small amount of blood and it puts a small oder out very similar to a period so it alerts the male that she is ready for him. Thus when you are on your period he is smelling somthing to him is like perfume. This may sound gross to you but to the dog it just nature. So dont let people tell you that you stink down there, just because a doggies doin some sniffing,Besides they should'nt , you never know when it will happen to them. I know the thought kinda is gross but hey ,( at least you arn't at a zoo around monkeys :) lol they go wild for it, when a womans on her monthly. )

Dogs sniff men and women all the time. What do dogs do when they meet?? sniff the other dogs butt. It's just natural for them.

That's because they can smell the blood and it seems to excite them. Sometimes, male dogs become sexually aroused when they smell a menstruating woman's crotch and will try to mount her leg. I've had this happen to me on several occasions.

They have a very keen sense of smell. Also did you know that a stud (male horse) can smell a woman also? And sometimes the stud will reach out and bite a woman who is on her period! That's scary!

animals have a natural reaction to be drawn to the smells you let off during that time, especially if they havent been desexed.

Because some nasty women think that wearing a tampon is a substitute for washing down there. Dogs like filth. ewwwww!
