GREYHOUND??!! (please only current or previous greyhound owners)?

Question

I am getting another puppy in a week or so.
I have a greyhound pup already.
What breed of dog other than another greyhound should i get?
There are a few dogs i have already had these are:
Alsation,
Border collie,
Staffy and
Whippet.
Are there any that would get along with a greyhound pup????
If not are there any other breeds, that would get along???

Also my friend is getting a greyhound.
If you can please say anything that would help or just a good website would help!?

Breeds get along fine, it's each dog and their personalities that cause trouble.

The best thing to do is bring him to where ever your getting the new pup (please consider shelter mutts) and letting him pick his new best friend.
You can see how they will get along before you shell out big money.

I don't have agreyhound,but I know someone who did,and she had a Saluki as a companion for it.I think another sight - hound,like a whippet,would be a nice companion for the greyhound.That or a scent hound,like a beagle or foxhound. Most pups will get along,but because the greyhound has such fragile skin,it's best to get a breed that isn't predisposed to fighting with other dogs,and one of the opposite sex is usually better as well.

you're better off with another greyhound because they are pack animals, more so than any other dog, except for a wolf. my father-in-law has a greyhound. i know he goes to a really good website. maybe you could email and ask me for that site, and i will call him tomorrow and email it to you. but you'll have to email me or i will forgot, but i will be glad to help.
