is it okay to put a peacock bass, a silver arowana, and a lima shovelnosed catfish together in one 250 gallon aquarium.
if i can put them all together..what else can i possibly put in the tank(small to medium fish the big guys wont eat).

I just took my two Ragdolls to the vet this morning to be vaccinated for rabies and distemper. The vet just called and they both had reactions (both vomited and had diarrhea) and one is now on Oxygen!

Is it really necessary to continue with yearly vaccinations, and should I discuss ending future vaccinations with my vet? I don't want to have to worry about this again. Especially since my cats never leave the house (unless they go to the vet) and aren't in contact with any other animals.

What do you think?

I have a 2 clown fish. In the tank there is this rock for them to go into. One goes in and the other follows it. But when the other tries to go in the one in the rock freaks out and they both start going crazy by swimming around the tank?

Have an outdoor cat. Only i can pet. She comes indoors to eat but freaks if i close the door. Vet says to keep her inside 24hrs. before spading. She will freak out if i try. I can't have her having more kittens. Don't know what to do.

a typical argument-
me- why dont you want a cat?
mom- because i dont want one
me- i know that, but why? you said yourself that i take really good care of my current pets. so why cant i get a cat? i scoop the litter box every other day and feed the cat we have now, plus i clean the frog and snake tank every other day too.
mom- because i dont want another pet we have too many animals and i dont like cats.
me- thats not true (i almost got a parrot but changed my mind because i might need to live in an apartment and they would be too loud for that)
mom- quit harassing me about it, you just keep asking for more and more and more and you arent grateful for anything you have now. we already have a cat and shes perfect-
me- except for the fact that she doesnt like people
mom- WE DONT NEED ANOTHER. MORE CATS ARE MORE POOP AND THEY FIGHT AND PEE
me- we already went over this, I am cleaning the litter box and feeding the cat. I pay for every aspect of it. i dont understand why i cant get a cat...

I have two firemouth babies,they are probably like 1-1.5 inches.i do notice one them is a little bit bigger than the other maybe by half an inch.an one keeps picking on the other i m not sure if they are playing or if hes killing them.there babies after all so i dont think they know what violence is?

there is the photo of it. it is about 2 cm long. silver with orange fins and really fant black stripes on the front end of its body. it is tropical.

the people at the pet store have no clue what is and it would be nice to know if anyone has an idea. thanks

I have been a tech for 5 years mostly in emergency medicine and have though very long and hard several times about vet school. My vets are always telling me I need to go. I guess I am "Chicken" as I am worried about how to make ends meet, and care for my two young kids at the same time. my husband is very supportive but...... I was in discussion today with a friend who keeps tropical fish. It came to the subject of Marine fish and Brackish fish. Although I do understand some Brackish fish can live with Tropical Fish, but I I am absolutely certain that NO MARINE fish can live with tropical fish or Brackish fish? Or could they? Can anyone clear this up for me please and would be so grateful for a list of brackish fish or Marine fish which may live with tropical fish. okay i live in my apartment and i have a female rabbit named Tiny. shes 3 years old but small. i am going to get her a boyfriend after i spay her so she doesnt have babies but i also want to get a small dog.Ive heard that i should not get a terrier nor maybe a chihuhua (i think) . so what kind of breed of dog can i adopt?? please help!!!
