there is the photo of it. it is about 2 cm long. silver with orange fins and really fant black stripes on the front end of its body. it is tropical.

the people at the pet store have no clue what is and it would be nice to know if anyone has an idea. thanks

It's either a Flame Tetra or a Red Phantom Tetra.

Its looks like a Pristella Tetra to me. We just bought some for our tank but there so many breeds of tetra.

That's my guess at least. Give them a week or so to settle in a snap a new pic if your still not sure. The colors should show much better by then.

It's a glass fish. grows to about 2", non-aggressive.

it sort of looks like a Pacu,they are related to Pirhanas,the only difference is that they are vegi fish.

It's a rasbora. Because of the lack of color, looks like a female, possibly a golden harlequin because of the color on its tail.
