i have a wolf hybrid and when she was 4 months old she had a really tan back not its almost black she is not 7 months old why did this happen here are pictures of her

Is it best to neuter a female rabbit? How about a male rabbit? In a situation where they are kept separately because they are un-neutered, which is the best sex to neuter in order for them to be able to live together? Or is it not a good idea to put adult opposite sex rabbits together? (Even if they do 'know' each other, because they live in close quarters?).

I am getting a leo this weekend and was wondering what people's opinion on a name should be. I have a bearded dragon named cornellia (named after caesars wife) so im tempted to get a male and name it caesar, or get a female and name it cleopatra. I am open to all suggestions! and no, they are not going to live together, i have seperate tanks for them.

Samson is my 10 year old chocolate lab, who is in great shape. He was at the beack on Sunday playing for three hours (which is not unusual) He was with our neighbors and their three kids and their chocolate lab who is 1. There was nothing unusual and he walked home normally. The next morning he was lame, putting no weight on his back right leg, but did not appear in any pain - there was no crying, he was not senstitive to touch, so we thought we would give him the day. The next day he was OK, putting weight on it and moving more normally. Today, he woke up and was lame again. He then seemed to be moving around better...but is now lame again. I have made an appointment for tomorrow, but any advice or thoughts in advance would be helpful. What can I expect? I am beside myself - he is my best friend and I cant stand to see him this way :-( PLEASE HELP!

I have a little bit of a flea problem, I have been spraying down my carpets and furniture with antiflea stuff and I am getting ready to wash my dog and sheets. Do I need to get more than just tide and bleach to get rid of everything on them... (My dog is spoiled and I let him sleep in my bed.)

Since it sprouted from the bulb - its been growing like crazy. I'm assuming the fish like it because they are always nipping at it... But how can I tame it ? Should I cut it ? Its got these 2 long string type pieces that have grown up to the top of the water and there are so many leaves. Its crazy!

This morning when I went to petsmart we saw one of my dad's friends, who also has fish tanks, and he was buying a very cool little creature. It was about an inch and a half around, brownish black, and sucking on the bag. When I asked him what it was he said it was an octo something another. It was round and kinda looked like an octopus but without legs. I know it isn't an octopus so anyone know what it was?

Just a little background info. first...I currently have a degree in Marketing, and although I'm very happy having it, I'm really looking for a job that I can feel some self worth with and one that I can really feel like I am making a difference.

Here is my dilemma:

I don't know if I'd like to pursue an administrative role in veterinary services, and also get certified as a vet assistant so that I can perhaps cross train and take on both roles, OR go for the vet technician program.

Both sound ideal to me, so I really need some REAL input from those in these types of positons, on advantages/disadvantages of both, whatever they may be. Also, which is more rewarding, and what's likely to pay more. Possibly the difficulties each present. How difficult are the courses that are needed for these positions?

Also, do you think having a business degree and/or experience will help with either of these positions?

my Vet is closed and my 13lb. (healthy) shih-tzu has started scratching and biting himself bad. I live in FL and it just rained. Each time he goes out (bathroom) he really starts all over again itching. All I have is Tylenol PM, which is Benedryl (which I know he can have) but don't know about Tylenol. Please help if possible? Thanks. Of course I'll call the VET in the AM but I feel badly for the little guy.

My mom recently bought my 3 month old puppy a different brand of puppy chow (from Purina puppy chow to Dad's puppy chow). From changing from puppy to adult food I know you need to do it gradually, but do you have to do the same while changing between puppy chows?

I have a female rat who will be 2 in October is it still safe for her to have babies? Or is she too old and would it put too much stress on her? She is very active and gentle. She is housed with her sister, and I know she would have to be separated for her pregnancy. If she can this would be her first litter.

If someone breaks into my home and my dog attacks can I get in trouble in the state of Nevada? I heard from a freind that his dog bit off a guys kneecaps ( is that even possible) and the cops let it slide since he was an intruder.
