Your link isn't working.

Apparently there's some taxonomical confusion and this genus is also called Caecomastacembelus or Mastacembelus, which may be part of the reason you're have trouble finding information, if you're looking for the Congo eel that's an actual fish: http://www.iucnredlist.org/search/details.php/60388/all If you search for the family to which these belong (Mastacembelidae) you should get more info, although this family also includes Asia species (zigzag eel, fire eel, peacock eel).

There's also a Congo eel that's a US native salamander - look them up under the name Amphiuma.
