My friend has 12 cats and it is nasty cause they piss everywhere cause they are always marking their spot. For some reason she wont get rid of them. Is their a reason why she needs to have them. Is it a mental problem? Thanks

Everybody thinks rats are "gross" and "ugly", it's really sad, but they are really adorable and nice...

We have a year old springer and she is a nightmare on her lead. We've done classes and she started walking well, but now she just won't. We have invested in a choke chain, which helps a little. Once she is tired out from her walk she's fine, but I'd like to be able to let others walk her, without her pulling their arms off!

My cat gets car sick. I am moving 2 1/2 hrs away and was wondering if there is something I can give her to relax so she doesn't throw up in the car. If I wasn't leaving, I wouldn't do this to her, but since she's going with me, I want to make her as comfortable as possible. How can I do that? Thanks.

They are 6 weeks and 3 days old.
One is completely potty trained .. he hasn't pottied on the floor in about a week which is weird because he's the last born.
The other two WILL NOT use the litter box. I have a cookie sheet with litter in it, i keep it VERY clean but thet always go right next to it. I try and get it cleaned up quick and get the smell out but it's not helping. The litter box is downstairs with their water and kitten food. Mom nurses them about twice a day still but they love their hard food.

Will they eventually start going in the litter box? I figured it will take time but do you have any suggestions?
Thanx to all who answer.

For fun, here's pictures:

My finace and I just found out that our landlord will allow us to have a kitten! I am super excited because I have had cats growing up and miss my cat. I am concerned about the size of our apartment. It is really small and I am worried about living a kitten at home while we work. I will get the litter box and all the other goodies that go along with a new kitten, but what about putting the kitten in a carrier during the day while I am at work? I would put a litter pan and food inside so the poor thing doesn't starve or explode from having to go to the bathroom. I just want to make sure it's safe until it gets use to the lay of the land.

I live in a small apt complex. We are not supposed to have any pets inside (i'm not sure about outside) I do not have the money to take the mama cat and kittens to the vet for their shots. I don't want to take them to the pound because they will be put down. The kittens are only 2 weeks old. Nobody in my complex has been feeding the mama cat, therefore the kittens aren't getting enough nutrients to stay alive.
What should I do?

I have a 4 year old male greyhound and a 2 1/2 year old female chihuahua-boston terrier mix (i know, kind of an odd situation). They seem to like each other a lot. The problem is, they will not stop playing together! Any time they are out of their crates, they are constantly playing. They are friendly with each other as they play, but they play pretty roughly and end up running around the house a lot. I've had the greyhound for over a year, and just got the chihuahua-boston mix about 1 month ago. The playing started about 3 weeks ago and has not stopped yet. The only thing I can do about it right now is put them in their crates which is only a short term solution. Any ideas?

Also, I have a cat that my chihuahua-boston mix chases at all times, but my grehound just ignores (and vice-versa).
