My 1 yr old cat had kittens and she keeps taking one out of the bed and nursing the kitten by itself, and then puts it back. What does this mean????

This one kitten might be the runt and is not getting enough to eat because the other kittens will not let it. The momma see's this and is trying to care for this kitten.

How many kittens did your cat have? If she had more kittens than she does nipples, she is probably just being more maternal then we normally get to see cats be. So she is taking the one that normally gets pushed away by the others and making sure it is getting fed. Is this kitten the smallest? The mom may also be sensing that this one is sick, and trying to fix it by providing more nurishment. But if everyone is healthy and all are getting to eat, I would not worry about it, and just guess that mom has a favorite. Who Knows it could happen!!

Thats strange ... Maybe this one kitten is not as strong as the others and was being pushed out by the other kittens so her mamma wants to make sure that the little one is being fed .. its really sweet

Just make sure all the kittens are getting fed, and other than that it's OK.
