okay so I'm getting a puppy and this is the list of things I've thought of please tell me if I'm missing anything (its a yorkie! =])

crate
brush
shampoo
food
toys
leash
harness
blanket
food and water bowls
possibly a one of those metal fence things to close off an area of a room
and nutrical

anything else?

My 1 yr old chihuahua/rat-terrior mix is due for his distemper booster. I was wondering how important this shot is for him. I know he has already had a rabies shot, is this the same thing?

i put my fish (2 cockatoo cichlids 2 ram cichlids 2 clown loaches 1 skunk botia 2bala sharks) in a 5 galon tank for5 now because im fixing my 10 and 50 gallon.the 1 ram died the 2nd day and the cockatoo female isn't doing to well.they are breathing very rapitly and laying in one plays till i give them food.the water was 26 degrees c i put it up to 29 and they are doing much beter

Don't you wish you could know what your cat does during the day? I do! Well so did Mr. Lee's human. Who attached a camera to Mr. Lee's collar. Now we can see a general idea of your cat's agenda. I plan on getting a camera for my kittens.

My cats like to put their toy felt mice in their food bowl. I will take the mice out and within 5 minutes, the mice are back in the food bowl. I know it must be hard for them to eat with the mice there but the cats seem to like it. My friends cats do the same thing.

I have a 2 year old chihuahua mix and I am not sure if she is pregnant. I really would rather not going to a Vet for blood tests/ultrasounds/x-rays because they are a bit pricy. I believe she went into heat about a month ago so if she is she'll probably be about a month along. I did notice that her stomach is starting to get a little bigger and feels tighter than usual. Also, she isn't eating her normal food like usual but is always in search of other food even though her normal food is available to her. I heard you can feel lumps in the stomach but I'm a little scared to push on her stomach. What other signs should I look for?

If a cat is vaccinated against Feline Leukemia, then why can't it interact with a carrier of FL? It's probably an obvious answer, but I really don't know. I know that it is a disease transfered by fluids, but I don't get why cats who are vaccinated can't live with or interact with a cat who is a carrier of FL.

which one is better for our family?
we have a large garden, big house, a 10 yr old girl who adores dogs and knows how to train and handle a dog. she has handled yorkies, labradors and collies.

.. how much on average do they cost per week?
2. are they nice to live with?
3. would they be ok in an normal sized house with a large garden?
4. what are their down sides?
5. do they need lots of exercise?
6. if you were to lift them up and compare them in their weight to something else, what would it be?
7. how much do they need to be fed?
8. do they bark alot?

for 13 i know the rattle bottle technuque; does it work? I need to find breeders of whippets or collies in hemel hempstead, england. HELP!

I got him/her (not sure yet, it still isn't showing any of the signs) from a friend who was going to college about 5 months ago (he/she is growing like a weed from 2 inches) I want to upgrade him to a MUCH larger tank before he outgrows his current one. He has a large basking area but it is getting way too small for him. I was just wondering what size I should get and how to set it up (I've seen tanks with full water and a large plexie glass basking area, how can I make that?) He has 3 filters that keep his water clean for the most part and a Kuhli Loach which he amazingly doesn't bother at all. How can I make both of them happier in a new home? And does anyone have any suggestions for an affordable/ reliable tank that I can get from petsmart?

My cat kills animals from our town. Like mice and birds and that is normal I guess. But she also decapitated a small bunny and SKINNED a mouse!! Is this normal? What can I do? IS there anything I can do without having her be am indoor cat or giving her away??

Is it possible to get several breeding pairs of different species (cichlids, such as Kribensis, Angelfish, and Rams) in a 58 gallon aquarium? I've bred Kribensis before, but I don't know if there is enough room in a 58 gallon to have those three species together.

I have revamped my fish list for my 58 gallon aquarium that is currently cycling. Would these fish be compatible with eachother: Angelfish, Blue Rams, Kribensis, Rainbowfish, Yo-Yo Loaches, Corys, Keyhole Cichlids, and Golden-Eyed Dwarf Cichlids? I've never been able to find the last breed of fish, but I absolutely love them, so does anyone know where to find them? Are there any fish breeds in my list that I should take out? How many fish of each breed should I get (would I be able to get anything to breed?....I've bred Kribs before). I have had fish for over 13 years and I know a lot of info about fish, but I haven't worked with any of these fish (besides Kribs and the loaches/corys) and I would just like to know what experiences other people have had with these fish and their interactions with other fish in a community aquarium. (continued) I seperated my male and female bets using a divider, if I want to breed them is this the best way for my fish to get used to eachother? The male keeps flaring at my female. He makes bubbles. The female seems to want to get closer to him but I'm not sure the male wants to breed with her because he is flaring at her. She has never had this problem before, but we recently put fish in for her to eat. She ate a couple but then got stressed out so we removed them. If we get an algae eater, she will eventually eat it and I am afraid it will stress her out until she is big enough to eat it (she is only the size of a half dollar). There are algae pellets that I can get for the water but I don't know if they are safe for turtles. Can anyone help?

1.) I have 7 guppy fry and have had them for several weeks (4) and now they seem to have stopped growing how can i speed up the process and get them out of the fish hatchery and into the main tank ?
All the fish in my tank are liveberaes and the tank is at 26C
2.)Shall I turn it up to 28 C to make them grow faster?

My hamster had babies for the second time, they are 4 days old, but there's 1 problem, there was 8, but now we can only count 7. I don't want to disturb the nest too much but I am concerned. I don't know what could have happened, he couldn't of fell out the cage cos they can't walk yet or if mum had eaten it, there would be remains, what do you think?? We don't have cats or any other animals. PLEASE HELP!
