The problem may not be in the foods or the temperature, but instead in space and water conditions.

1. They will have a very hard time getting to a suignificant size in a breeder net or other hang in the tank device That restricts their ability to move about well.

2. At this stage, you should be replacing about 50% of the water in the tank each day to remove waste, excess food and hormones from the water.

3. The temperature is important to growth, but you don't want to accelerate growth at the expense of thier health. I wouldn't suggest you increase temperature inless all other requirements for fast growth are also being met.

4. At 4 weeks they can accept a wide variety of foods and should receive a wide variety to provide proper nutrition. Crushed flake, brine shrimp, daphnia, mosquito larvae and similar foods should make up the majority of thier diet. I would suggest feeding 4-5 times a day, more with increased heat.

If possible, get the fry into a larger container, even if it's a plastic storage box fitted with a heater and sponge filter. Feed often and generously. If available, leave live foods in the tank with them. Daphnia is particularly good for this role. Change 50% of the water daily and keep the temperature steady and in the upper 70's to low 80's and all of this will encourage rapid and healthy growth.

How many times are you feeding the fry? Fry needs to be fed 4 times a day. I don't think turning up the heat will help them grow faster. Just feed them more often and they should continue to grow at a steady rate.

Edit* I found this awesome web page with alot of info on it. Check it out. Turns out that if you raise the temp up to 80F the metabolism of the fry will rise. Also keeping the light on for longer periods of time will also help their growth.

no keep the temp the same but feeding then a little bit more might help but most likely not and they most likely haven't stopped growing don't release them into the tank until they are at least a inch big
