I use a product called biokleen Bac-Out. It is all natural and it is safe for your pets. It is one of the environmentally safe cleaners.

Good Luck! :)

Can be very hard depending on what was in the vomit. After getting the bulk off the surface, clean it with lots of warm soapy water and an old towel - dish soap works fine. Soak up as much as you can with a dry towel. I find this works better than store-brand carpet cleaners, which often have a strong scent and don't really work all that well. If this does not get it all, you will probably need to rent a steam cleaner or have your carpet professionally cleaned if it doesn't all come up. If there was any blood in the vomit, it is especially hard because of the iron content.

Use a piece of stiff cardboard or something similar (a dustpan if nothing else), and some paper towels to scoop up all the solid mess. You must remove the solids before proceeding, you don't want to smoosh it into the carpet fibers. After you do that, gently soak up what you can with paper towels. Then, if you have a carpet and/or upholstery machine of some sort, use it according to directions. That should be all you need. If you don't have a machine, use a carpet spot and stain remover, like Resolve. If you don't have that, you could try a little Spray 'N Wash, or Oxi-clean. If nothing else, just plain water or white vinegar will do until you can get something else.

ur prolly goin to have to rent a machine to wash the floor up. it really depends on how much and if there is color to it. just remember when u do clean it up dont just push whatever it is into the rugs fibers. You can dab at the wetness but if its stained ur carpet then you most likely will have to get a cleaner to get up the mess. I have used an oxidizer on stuff but then again you might just have to get somethin else to clean up the smell cause you dont want that lingering around too. If its not a big mess though make sure to clean up what you can and move the stain inwards towards the stain and not outwards or the stain will get bigger. Good luck

Step 1. Use cat litter or sawdust to absorb and dry out the vomit. You can then scrape it up and throw it out.

Step 2. Clean the stain with a product called Simple Solution. It's available at pet stores, vet suppliers, etc. Simple Solution has a harmless, non-pathogenic bacteria that actually eats the molecular constituent of pet barf that causes it to stink. It also works with urine, poop, blood. After it eats all the smell, the bacteria dies off. The surfactant in the Simple Solution then enables you to remove the stain. And by the way, it smells good, too.

Plus, dogs become curious and confused because their scent has been so thoroughly removed. You will see your dog sniffing and giving you searching looks as if to say, "But --- I had that territory marked! How did you do that?" He also might try to pee in the newly cleaned area in order to remark his territory, so keep an eye on him.

Believe it or not, foaming shaving cream not only removes puke stains (and other stains) but it also removes pet odors from carpets and furniture. Just mop up the mess the best you can first, then squirt shaving cream on it. Let it sit for an hour or so, then wipe it up with a cloth. Should do the trick!!

First, you need to scrape all of the puke off of the rug. And through it in the garbage or somethjing. Then spray some special cleaner on the spot. and wipe it up with a rag or some paper towels. if you can, through the rug in the washing machine then dryer, but if its a big rug, then clean it the best you can with the cleaning sollution.
