I used to have a boy cat that was white and orange. I thought it was a girl at first and called it Daisy. The only name that would really be cute/awesome is one you thought of yourself. Look around you for inspiration. If you don't find anything, Daisy is always there. If it has patches of white and orange, why not call it Patches?

Maxwell sounds like a good name for it. If you want something unique, then Peanut Butter. Less unique but not so formal than Marbles. Something mushy than Pookers.

I like the name Creamsicle, myself. Or you could name it based on the day of week you got him -days like Tuesday, Friday and Monday are kind of unique.
I also like the following names: Sherman, Scratch, JJ, Eric, Jermaine, Xavier (pronounced ha-vee-air) and Noodles.
