i was forced to put my dog down 2 years ago because she was 18 and had cancer really bad the last 3 months of her life... in 3 months she went from healthy to skin and bones and couldnt eat and only drank water and couldnt control her bowels.......well i feel guilty... u see a few years before that i left home for college and left her with my dad, and because of differences with my dad i barely came over, and i miss her soo much.. the night we put her down, the whole family of 8 people was in the room and she completely ignored me, but went right over to my boyfriend and every one else.. i feel so guilty and miss her so much and feel like its my fault she died and hated me. i was her favorite human and she was my best friend and i deserted her...i cant get over feeling guilty to this day and miss her soo much , i wish i could go back in time and visit more often and take her to sleep over my place... i dont know how to not feel guilty.. she wouldnt even acknowledge me that night..

i have a very gentle, 70-lb. german shepherd mix that currently has some form of worms. our vet gave us some liquid medicine that looks milky and can't possibly taste good to our dog. we have tried everything to get him to drink the medicine in spoonfuls, but we're having a hard time. any suggestions?

okay so my uncle's dog that lives in china in my opinion, hasnt got a very good life. well as you may know, china isnt exactly a rich country and people feeding themselves and be quite difficult. well the dog in china lives with my uncle, aunty and cousin and they feed it leftovers and biscuits for food. it isnt wormed, hasnt got any of its shots, doesn't get taken for walks, isn't registered, microchipped or desexed. i know we must consider their circumstances and how so many dogs in china die on the streets because not many people take dogs in, since they can't even fend for themselves, let alone a dog. i don't know what to think about this. the dog obviously has a home and people to love it but i just feel that it's life could be better, but then again, could be a lot worse too.
my dog on the other hand, is wormed, micochipped, registered taken on frequent walks, fed well, had all of his shots and recently got desexed (yesterday). i know he has a better life than the dog in china

There is no way I am doing it myself, and my friend who used to cut my kitty's claws and I both got married and don't live close to each other anymore, so I have to take him to the groomer.

He doesn't seem to be grooming as much as he once did. When I brush him I get piles of dull undercoat and mats. He seems healthy eating and drinking well, and is fairly active for his age.

I did change his dry cat food to Science Diet Hairball formula. Could it be possible that the hairball formula is preventing shedding, thus causing the dull excessive hair which then mats?

Okay, I have a really good friend that has three dogs in her small apartment which is bad in itself-- so the worst part would be that they are not trained-- the dogs use the bathroom everywhere and often they just leave it (yes i know this is disgusting)

my question would be how do you tactfully tell them that you do not want to visit anymore because their house smells like horrible dog pee and poo??

maybe some suggestions on how to get the overwhelming scent out-- i let them have my steam cleaner cause ahem*we didnt need it anymore* and it didnt even help-- its a rented house so they cant just replace everything and i actually think they do not smell it-- i mean its bad you can smell it when you get out of your car in their driveway

Soooo...I'm worried because I bought this critter cutter thing and when I try clipping, I always make a little part of the nail go red. I feel so sorry for my rabbits, then I put the brown powder on them, but they are scared every time I take out the critter cutter. I'm horrible at cutting...could any one give me a detailed explanation? Thanks SO much!

I have severeal guppies that just had fry and a few others that are still pregnant. One female I have in a breeder tank and I noticed some yellow clear round droppings in the bottem of the breeder. Not sure what that is and if they are dead eggs or something else. Just wierd and never have seen it before. Does anyone know what they are? She still seems pregnant too.

Does anybody know of a good sheath cleaning solution? I heard one that involved liquid dove and some other ingredients. I don't like excalibur because I find that it isn't very effective. Also if anyone knows any tricks to get "it" down besides sedation or coaxing, I would be immensely appreciative. Thanx.

The snail and my Beta fish live in the same bowl. when i feed the snail Algae wafers, the Beta fish goes straight for them and eats them! Should I really be feeding my snail at all? Will it die if it doesn't eat the wafers?

I have had many dogs and cats. I have a rough coat retriever. He looks like a black lab with a heavy coat. He just got neutered today. Sure I know the effects of the surgery and the medication is going to drag him down until tomorrow but I wonder how much effect this whole neutering thing has on him. Does he know what happened? I guess I am bummed out cause he I have became really attached to him. He is almost like a kid to me. Is this stuff harmful to dogs or am I just over reacting?

My red glass barbs seem to twitch a lot. I have three, and one in particular seems to twitch his head a lot. He doesn't go out of control, but it's just little spasms. Then two at a time will seem to fight. The push against each other and swim in circles. Are they fighting or what?

i preformed a sort of brain surgery on the african cichlid i took him out of the tank and put him in a bowel with some water from the tank and put ick med and stress coat in the water then i pressed from behind the lump forward and it came out of the hole, that kind of made him look like he was growing a third eye. what came out can only be describe as some sort of tumor. he is happier now and swimming around. the swelling has gone down and he is no longer slow and swimming on his side. as long as it does not get infected or anything i think he will make a full recovery. i will keep you all posted and thanks so much for the help

Im currently breeding guppys but i want to move on to a more exspensive fish that I can make a bigger profait off of Pls don't get me wrong i love fish i have two tanks setup for my private fish, but i love seeing fish happy and breeding and i like selling top notch fish so others can enjoy them as well

But whats a popular fish that sells for a pretty penny. I almost forgot to say Freshwater fish only pls
