okay so my uncle's dog that lives in china in my opinion, hasnt got a very good life. well as you may know, china isnt exactly a rich country and people feeding themselves and be quite difficult. well the dog in china lives with my uncle, aunty and cousin and they feed it leftovers and biscuits for food. it isnt wormed, hasnt got any of its shots, doesn't get taken for walks, isn't registered, microchipped or desexed. i know we must consider their circumstances and how so many dogs in china die on the streets because not many people take dogs in, since they can't even fend for themselves, let alone a dog. i don't know what to think about this. the dog obviously has a home and people to love it but i just feel that it's life could be better, but then again, could be a lot worse too.
my dog on the other hand, is wormed, micochipped, registered taken on frequent walks, fed well, had all of his shots and recently got desexed (yesterday). i know he has a better life than the dog in china

It's hard to be judgemental of people who are living with little money in a country that is not as wealthy as the U.S. or Australia. For us, we have the money to do all these things for our dogs. But for me, it helps to think of the alternative for your uncle's dog. In his country, if he wasn't feeding and taking care of the dog, the dog would be homeless and starve. So if he's doing the best he can, that's all he can do to provide for his family and his dog.

My parents used to each have a dog in Taiwan. They weren't poor, They were middle class, They had a dog that was very loyal. They fed it leftovers, and let it roam free. Back then lifestyle wasn't like this.. Nobody had a dog unless they had some extra money to spend. They loved the dog, didn't nueter or spay their dogs. They didn't know of such. Life is different in different places. Nobody was planning to be a Vet in Taiwan. You would be laughed at and basically how would you be a Vet if their aren't any schools to teach you. My parents told me stories of how they gave their dogs human medicine, very little , when they were sick, cus there isn't any medicine for dogs and frankly back then who would spend money on them. My parents let the dogs roam free because they have instincts to know what to do when there sick, and let them do what they did in the wild.People adapt to their surroundings, Now we have a dog treat it well, feed it dog food, worm it, get shots, getting nuetered soon.

It doesn't sound like a good situation for the dog, but they may be hard to convince. I don't even think china has a vet clinic and if they I would be scared to take them there. I would say if you could take the dog do so, but be careful not criticize them or hurt anyone if you can.

First of all, people should research more about dogs before getting one, my dog has now costed me more than ten thousand dollars including shots, toys, food, etc. But you need to think, dogs in the wild live with no shots, toys, or whatever, keynote* they also need to find there own food too.

That really sucks and I feel horrible for the dog. I LOVE animals and it sucks when you have to hear stories like that. I hope the best.
