My fish always eats my snail's food. How can I get it to stop?

The snail and my Beta fish live in the same bowl. when i feed the snail Algae wafers, the Beta fish goes straight for them and eats them! Should I really be feeding my snail at all? Will it die if it doesn't eat the wafers?

Try putting the food for your snail in just before the lights go off. Snails get around in the dark, but your betta will be resting.

You could feed your beta fish first and then place it in a separate bowl or hold it back with a net and feed your snail. When your snail is done you can put the fish back normally.

Your snail Will get enough to live on and you could just feed the fish more that they will eat then the snail will get food also.

i think your betta likes the wafer. act u can just feed more so the 2 of them can share. or as one helpful fren recommended to feed ur betta fish before throwing in the wafer. anyway this shdnt be a major problem. cheeros!

How about putting both foods in at the same time?
If he still doesn't go for his food just let him eat the other if he likes it

seperate them during feeding time, wait until one is done eating, then switch.
