You can, but it won't be good for him. Just go buy a little thing of Goldfish food at the pet store for a buck... Please tell me your Goldfish isn't in a bowl. If it is, it won't live for another year. Goldfish get up to 12 inches long, sometimes bigger. They need a minimum of 30 gallons a piece. Good luck with the move!

Hi KK, bread crumbs are not a very good food for your fish-apart from being nutritionally poor they will pollute your tank water when used frequently. If your fish food is not available, there are plenty of other things you probably have to hand that can feed him. A little cooked broccoli or carrot, cooked, shelled peas, a slice of orange or other citrus fruit, pear or cauliflower. All of the above should only be fed in very small amounts & the cooked foods should be left to cool thoroughly before feeding. In addition I would suggest immediately getting him some quality Goldfish pellets such as Hikari or Pro-Gold & replacing his flake food with these. Good luck with the move!

It doesn't really matter. Tropical fish food is safe for your goldfish, but goldfish food has things in it that are beneficial to your goldfish that may not be in ordinary tropical fish food. Read the packages and ask some preofessionals about it.

No, it's not okay. You need to bie somemore fish food. When you know you are out tell a parent or if you can drive, get your butt up and go bie some. Just kidding and don't be afended, but you really, really need to bie some fish food. Fish want to eat tasty food. Just like us humans, we want tasty food. Not Bread Crumbs!

You can but it's not healthy for him. Just go get the food off of the moving truck if you're not moving for a while. That or buy a vacation feeder.
