I cut out a 3 foot long tube and punctured holes with a hot pin with 1 inch distance on the top side. I sealed one end and hooked in my air pump at the other and anchored the whole thing in my tank from one end to the other with vacume holders.

I find that bubbles don't come out from all the holes properly. If anyone has some good tips making a perfect buble wall airation tube, please post.

The reason I'm doing this is because, I can't get the proper size readymade piece for this in my area.

Someone's asking how many red marks does my friend's shih tzu have. I don't what she's referring to.
Does higher red marks mean the dog's of a better breed?

My 3 year old lab growls and snaps at every one in the house. He doesn't like to begiving any commands and when he urinates in the house and we have him smell it and put him outside he starts growling and shaking. Today my son went to give a bath and he bit him on the arm.

People tend to blame/judge dogs on their bad temperament when they ''attack'' kids and many unfortunate animals have been put to sleep as a result. But i sometimes feel that kids can be an unwitting tease or push the dog too far.I had a six year old nephew who pinned my lab's head down with his foot to stop her from getting to something. He got punished for it of course, but i could not help thinking that if it was my bit more dominant Great Dane(who's passed on now),things might have turned ugly.
Anyway,i think kids shd be taught to respect animals.

So... last night my boyfriend brought me home a kitten as a surprise. I met him at around 10:30 last night and since meeting this little guy he has managed to find a hole in the wall of our apartment that is behind the oven and he is gone in there. He was in there last night and my boyfriend got him out. Again today he is in the hole but this time he is farther in where I cant even see him. I am 9 months pregnant and cant really menuever to grab him. Plus the oven only pushes out soo far. He doesnt know me well enough to just trust me and come out of the hole. Any ways you can think of to lure him out before I go insane? He has been in there since 9 am and it is not 11:30. I dont know what to do.!!!

This past weekend I adopted (rescued?) a male lop-eared rabbit. He has been neutered but I gather that his past living conditions were less than optimal, though he was not mistreated. I suspect he is about 2 years old and weighes nearly 7lbs. He was never litter-box trained and unlike what I've read in countless books, he is not "tidy" (ie, he will poop and urinate by his food, or wherever he pleases, never in the same spot, but never over the edge of the cage). I've tried moving the soiled bedding to the litter box but it's not working! Any other suggestions?

Also, he is EXTREMELY skiddish and does not like to be touched or held. Any ideas on bonding? He has already scratched my arm up pretty badly and thumped at me. Will he 'stay mad' or 'get over it'?

Thanks for any responses! I really do appreciate it!

So heres what I want, if they dont already have a number, I need a suggestion for how many.

Here we go:
1 Betta
6-8 Swordtails
Some sort of tetra(besides neon or cardinal)

And if possible, maybe some cherry shrimp?? I know that people often have problems with them and bettas, but I have an extra ten gallon tank that they could go into if I am having issues.

My ph is about 8.2
The tank is a 40 gallon corner tank

My 10-11 week old kitten is throwing up on schedule about everyother day. It's like mush- as if her food hasn't digested and no hair in it. Afterwards, she continues playing, drinking, having fun. She tends to do this a few hours after eating. Potty habits are fine.We though that she was eating too much too fast and have paced her, but it continues. The vet can't find anythin wrong with her- all the tests and x-rays show nothing. They originally had me give her reglan. but don't want her on that forever. She has always eaten Hills science diet dry food for kittens. does she just have a super sensitive tummy? or what? any ideas?

My family just got a 4 month old Australian Labradoodle puppy, and I need some help with potty training. He is already crate trained, so please don't simply say "crate train him". We take him out as often as possible, but most of the time he just sits there and stares at us. When he pees in the house, he does it while he is running or walking, so you don't realize he is peeing until you see a trail of pee. Be specific in your answers and only serious answers please! Thanks alot!

Me and my husband are thinking of getting a puppy this year, but we are wondering if our two adult cats will be able to share their territory with the new puppy. It will be a pity to get the puppy and realize that our house has become a war zone for good! Any advise on how to introduce the puppy to the cats?

Our pond is an old concrete water trauf, w/ creek rocks up the sides. We have about 50 gold fish in the pond. Do I need to add something to pond for the turtles to rest on? There is nothing in it but water as of now.
