my rabbit just had 6 babies on wednesday she is looking after them and there all getting fat, she has her over daughter in the hutch and run with her from the litter she had last year will this bother the mother now she has new babies or will last yrs babie help her with the new babies, they all look healthy but im just been cautious, cos i dont want the over one to hurt them can anyone give me som advice cheers

That rabbit should have been separated from its mother a long time ago. And yes, it could cause problems with the babies. You're lucky you haven't had problems thus far.

Normally rabbits after they are left in together for so long will start chewing each other's fur, biting holes in the ears, chewing off tails, possibly fighting, etc. Not all rabbits will do that but most will. The chances of stuff like that happening increases as the number of babies in the litter increases.

I definitely recommend separating them before the mother has her litter. If you don't, she may scatter the litter all over the pen when she goes to have them instead of having them in the nestbox like she should.
