Just leave the eggs alone, or maybe fence the area with a wide-opeing fence to keep predators out but let the babies get out.

Please do not move the eggs unless you absolutely have to- it is not easy to 'rescue' turtle eggs successfully.

Eggs hatch in between 20-350 days depending on many variables, but usually 2-3 months.

Just FYI-
- If the eggs are not buried, they are either infertile or have already been dug up. They may also be infertile if the nest is more than a few hundred yards from some safe water.
- In some places, disturbing wild eggs is against the law, even on private property- especially if the species is protected by law.
- Touching the eggs does not harm them in any way, but distubing the soil around them can mean they will not be kept as warm and damp as they should be.

You didn't say what kind of turtle it is but if it is a wild turtle, nature will handle everything.
The mother dug a nest and deposited her eggs so just leave them alone. You can put a fence around the nest so nothing digs them up and just keep and eye on it. When the babies hatch out you can take them to the water (if they are water turtles) or find a nice area with plenty of good vegetation if they are land turtles (tortoise). Raccoons and skunks dig up turtle nests all the time so just keep an eye on the nest and try to keep the predators away.

a tortoise or a turtle and in water or on land.
it will take about 3 months for them to hatch dont move them at all or else they wont hatch even if you are wearing gloves do not move anything around them and they will hatch just fine.

your best bet is to call Game and Fish in your area, they will be better able to tell you what kind of turtle it may have been, your best bet it to leave the nest undisturbed, and let nature take its course
