I'd like to get more fish before the new school year starts. I have a 10 gallon tank with four fish;2 cherry barbs and 2 bronze cory. What else can I buy that I need only to be in a pair and are easy to breed?

How do you stop them? I take them out but it seems I never get them all and always a few days later there are dozens more.

I know they are, but some of them seem to completely lack some of these stereotypical features like selfishness. And I live among environments that imply cats.

I have a cocker spaniel and her fur drags around and she's very stinky all the time. She's an inside dog but it rains a lot where I live and when I take her to pee outside she gets wet and that makes the smell even worse. I heard you're not supposed to bathe them more than once a month, is that true?

I wash her with a senative oatmeal dog shampoo, and she doesn't have fleas. I keep her hair cut short to make sure she doesn't overheat. She is an inside dog, but gets plenty of exercise because we have a huge fenced in yard.

I think its part because she has really dry skin, are their any treatments i can do to relieve her itching? Like a type of soak or something?

My hamster bit my finger a couple of night ago. I bled for quite a while and I still have pain in my finger. Should I be concerned? See a doctor?

I have a 5 month old corn snake in a 10 gallon glass tank. I have an under the tank heater made by zoo med. The surface of the earth in the tank is a steady 85-87 degrees on one side and 75 degrees on the other side, which seems to be pretty correct. However at the very bottom of the tank where the surface of the heater meets the glass ( the heater is stuck on the outside bottom of the tank), my thermometer reads 110 degrees. If my snake buries herself down to the bottom, I know she can get burns. Is there any way of preventing a high temperature on the glass while still maintaining the 85 degree temperature on the surface? I looked at the EXO TERRA RAINFOREST heating pad, and it seems like it is better for a humid environment and would not produce as much heat on the glass. Any help is appreciated.

we tried the bitter spray and the tobasco sauce but it does not help. we also tried telling him no and he ignores us. He is just 6 months and i know puppy's chew but he will chew anything.

we put things on the kitchen counter just so he cant get to it but that does not stop him he some how manages to reach it and chew it just to chew.

for example he chewed through the padding on a trampoline. he chews chairs, garbage, board games, clothes, toys and more.

I am not really big into know which model rates the best and all that. I know what needs to be done and how to identify and treat most chemical problems. Am kinda wishing now I had more interest when I was in high school in biology instead of focusing on Chem, Physics, Trig and Calc but oh well.

I'm getting a new 180 gallon tank, stand, glass hood, and 2 three foot light sections. I am taking my gravel and heaters out of my 15 and 20 gallon tanks. Population is going to be posted as a follow up. What I really need to know as this set up is already putting me back about $750.00, what filtration to run. I know population will factor in so wait for the follow up to answer please. My inital plan was to use 2 Fluval 405 Cannister filters and that'll go for about 250 for both of them. Can I do better on filtration and not go way out of my pocket on this, or am I good enough at the two cannister set up?

I put in about 6 tadpoles and all of a sudden some started to disappear.

My Koi's range from size 6" to 12".
Do you think they ate them?

I have a protective cover because some of my Koi's were actually being eaten by an Owl. So it can't be any bird doing it.

Any suggestions?

Ive had my lovebird for about a month now, and he his getting used to stepping up on a stick, but he will fly away from my finger and hands anytime i get close to him. i have to go into a really small room just to get him on my finger, and if he does go on it, he flys away almost instantly, or he will automatically fly to my head or shoulder. Is there any training advice that i could get to make him more friendly?
