Obviously there is another correct answer and it happens to be NO. Fish are not boring at all my fish are very active and fun to watch now and then. Plus if they were the most boring pets then why do people have lots of fish tanks and ponds.

No way. They're relaxing to watch, for one thing, and if you get the right fish they'll chase each other a lot and that's fun to see. Besides, it's always fun to take care of an animal and be responsible for it. And, they're a lot easier to take care of than a dog or cat. Just feed them twice a day and keep the tank clean, and that's it. What better pet is there (all right, dogs are cooler, but a **** of a lot more expensive)

No definitely not boring.
In the pond we have several large koi all with different personalities. One about 2ft long likes the occasional slice of bread. It is entertaining watching him take a large hole out of the slice in one hit.
A couple of years ago I raised some goldfish eggs in a tank indoors. Apart from watching them hatch and develop, they used to 'play' in the bubbles. They would intentionally swim into the bubble stream, ride up then swim back down and do it all again.
If you want boring I can think of several, Giant African Land Snail, stick insects, ants etc. I guess like everything it's a matter of personal choice and thank goodness we don't all like the same things.

An aquarium crammed with fish is surely in simple terms a sprint wall artwork. A shifting image crammed with coloration, gentle and existence. i discover watching them greater appealing than a great form of the shows on television and lots greater exciting than a table lamp

I used to keep Koi Carp and when I walked around their pond they would come to the edge and follow me round. They fed from my hand. Now I keep tropicals. They are beautiful, peaceable and don't make a din. That's more than can be said for a lot of people. Don't knock the little watery people as we could learn a lot from them.

I love my fish. I have a HUGE red parrot fish and she's very interactive. She lets me feed her and touch her in the tank. For the most part, fish can be boring, but when they get BIG and learn who you are they love you!

I have to dissagree with your "correct answer." and say NO. Fish can be tons of fun! You can learn how to hand feed them and they develop personality. You may thumbs down me, but a pet isn't "boring", you just don't understand it.

NO! you can get interesting fish. Persay, tropical fish, like nemo lol. They have bright patterened bodies and are usually extremely active. Get a bigger tank! Bigger tank, bigger, better, and more fish! I have a like 30 gallon tank with 2 bright blue guaramies. Theyre beautiful and actually interesting.
