As with any wound, so long as you have washed your hands thoroughly and made sure that you have disinfected the wound, you should be all right.
There isn't a lot of information in your question--so I am assuming it wasn't a very deep bite?
If it is STILL bleeding, swollen, puffy, or begins to "ooze," than I would definitely seek a doctor.
I have suffered several bites, from "tasting," to "GTFO OF MY CAKE!" :p and though it pained me for a day or two, have never had them infected.
There is ALWAYS a slim chance, tho'. Just keep an eye on your finger :) Good luck!

Mine does, even nevertheless i'm so careful along with her, and that i'm extremely good at taming hamsters, I tamed all my others interior of a pair of weeks, yet she is poor. additionally, that is not how lots a hamster bites, that is how lots it hurts. My Russian Dwarf Campbell's used to bite lots, in spite of the undeniable fact that it would not harm in any respect. i visit assert this now, and you will experience sorry approximately it in case you do no longer pay attention: Syrian hamster bites harm like HELL. They harm 20 situations better than you think of they're going to. have you ever considered the size of their tooth? examine next time one yawns. heavily, don't be fooled via how amazing they look, decide for a dwarf.

I think it's only hurting because the hamster probably bit really deep down. Just go to the doctor or vet to check just in case.

Just make sure you don't poke at it. It probably hurts cause you use your fingers to do a lot of stuff, and you keep hurting the cut.
