You can read about it and sign a petition for him to get the maximum sentence, which is 5 years and a huge fine. It was cruel and senseless!

I attempted to clean my Betta fish's tanks. I tried those siphon's that are sold in the pet store. Top Fin makes mine. I did what the directions said and nothing happened. The water filled the large part that is inserted into the tank, but it didn't siphon out. I only have a three gallon tank and my Betta seemed a bit annoyed that I was agitating the water to get the siphon to work. Is there another way to make it work? Are there mechanical siphons out there? I feel like this is an old-fashioned way of doing this.

I have a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, that was born on Dec 4, he is approx 6 months old.

I can not seem to break him to stop pissing in his cage! I will take him out, and he will pee outside, then I will bring him back inside and as soon as I close his cage door and walk away from him, I will see him pissing in his cage! He then "Licks" is all up, is that normal?

I will take him outside, allow him enough time to do his business, then I will sit outside with him for another 10 minutes or so just to make sure he is done. Then I bring him in, and like I said, He will piss inside his cage.

He weighs about 25 pounds, so I feed him 1 1/2 cup of puppy food in the morning, and then I feed him another 1 cup in the evening. I give him fresh water at each feeding, and no I do not leave the water dish down during the day except if he does not drink all his water when I feed him.

I do not let him drink any water after I bring him in from outside.

What can I do to break him of this???

I puchased a sole about eight weeks ago. The shop keeper told me it was a fresh water sole. Soles are quite rare apparently, and when i read up on them on the web, it said that most of them prefer brackish water as they get older. I went back to the shop and told the guy this but he didn't seem to know much. Anyway it lived for about three weeks then died. It did eat food so it didn't die of stravation as alot of them do. Anyway my boyfriend brought three more soles yesterday, they are babies, they are the same size as ten pence piece and the shop keeper told him they will only grow to four inches. Scott asked the shop keeper if they are def fresh water, and he assured him they were. The thing is how can we be sure. I don't want them to die from being in the wrong type of water. Is there anyone out there who knows about fresh water soles and wot they look like, so we know for sure they are the fresh water variety. Thankyou

Can any old ornament or stone be put into an aquarium?
I have a few ornaments that are clean, have no glitter or paint on them and would look good in a fish tank, are they safe??

My cat had 4 kittens 3 weeks ago today. My husband says it's time to put them in a box and give them away. I say we should wait until they wean at 8 weeks. He says by the time they wean they won't be cute enough to give away, people won't want them and we'll end up having to take them to the pound or something. What's the danger in taking the kittens away from mom now before they are weaned?

Do dogs have baby teeth that they lose like ours? It doesn't look like it broke off or anything. He is show quality and I'd love to show him but if it doesn't come in, isn't that a disqualification? Any info. appreciated! He has a vet appt. soon so maybe they'll know. Thanks.

Right now I live in Darmstadt, Germany and am moving to Mannheim,Germany whenever they have an opening in housing. As soon as we are settled I would really enjoy getting a pet for my family. The only problem is I don't know of any places at all or even close by that have any puppy kindergarten/obedience classes and I would very much like to have my future puppy go to classes and be sure that it gets as much socialization as possible. There are many ways to get a puppy through breeders that may or may not be selling a healthy pet but there are no ways (that I know of to make sure that the pet can be properly trained and socialized or enough information to make sure that after the pet becomes a part of the family that it will be made sure that it will be able to go with whomever when they go to their next duty station.
So if anyone knows of an English speaking puppy school around Mannheim, Germany please let me know. Thank you in advance.
