Okay people i need tips... What has worked best with you for biting puppies? she is 8 weeks, totaly smart, already knows how to sit, is doing awsome with potty traning.. but she wont understand NO.. infact when i say NO as stern and as loud as i can.. she thinks im playing.. growls, and then attemps to attack my face!!!.. HELP! i do the thing where i say no, and hand her a toy.. but she does it right over agian

Hi, I wanted to know what kind of Chameleon are the horned ones, can you buy them at pet stores? Are they safe to keep as pets, what is the best breed of a Chameleon to have? I also dont plan to spend large amounts of money, so if its alot then just forget it, but I would like to know anyways.

My cat has been sitting in one particular area, almost the exact same spot by the inch, over the last 3-5 days. He hasn't peed, he's not sitting on top of anything, he's not hidden at all. Why would he suddenly be obsessed sitting in one area of the house? I don't have any other pets, and we've lived here almost a year. I've never seen him do this before!

i am going to be getting a lizard soon and i want one that is not small, so i was just wondering which one is cooler and seems to be more tame, so just stuff like that.if you know of any other lizards that are not oo small like the size of an adult bearded dragon, then let me know.

Okay there's this dog in my neighborhood who's owner starves him. What should I do about it? I tried to feed the dog a couple hotdogs and the dog about bit my hand off trying to get to them. You can even see his spine, ribs, and hip bones. If I could get somebody to get the dog my sister would take it and take care of it. But the only problem is that I live in a rural city in Missouri and have no idea who to call or what to do. I even thought about going and buying dog food and taking him some everyday. Any people with experience I'd love your help right now. And by the way the dogs really nice just staved. It's a Neopolitan Mastiff which is relly more of an inside dog but is kept outside.

Should it be left up to parents to teach their kids how to act around dogs? What if parents don't even know how to act around dogs? I mean, when this little girl came running up to my puppy with her mom standing right there (she was a cute little girl, and my pup didn't mind if one bit) I expected her mom to stop her. I mean, I had my boxer with me as well. And his head was level with hers! But no, her mom just let her go running up to my dogs. Of course, they're both sweet, but what if they weren't? Then later on, the mom leaves and the girl is still with my dogs, sitting on the floor playing with my puppy! Not one word said to me the whole time. Both of my dogs were on leashes, as is required in the city, and I didn't mind it because my dogs are sweet, but shouldn't parents teach their kids not to run up to strange dogs? I mean, I've actually had parents hold their kids back and ask first, then let them pet my dogs, but majority, it's the kid just running on up there. Should this...

(*I'm Back-With Another Question*)----Simple & short if you don't feel like reading the below: "Betta had cloud eye, fin rot?, aggressive*."

Ok. Here's the story.
First, my betta had Eye cloud/pop eye. I treated it, and it seems to be going away and his personality is still the same - ever before he was sick (nothing's fazed him, he's still energetic and happy). But - after I finish the treatment - I cleaned the tank as required for the "MELAFIX, Antibacterial Remedy". (cleaned the whole tank - but only changed less than 40% or so of the water).

*Now--He's still energetic, but he's flaring his gills at the two guppies I've had in the tank with him since I bought him <-betta (three months ago <-at the pet store; where I assume he got his illness). *This part of the situation I don't find surprising* When I noticed this, I removed the guppies incase he decided to take a chomp outa' them (two small male guppies - 1/6 the size of him).

I just don't want my betta to loose his fin!

Okay, I am a new owner of a baby bearded dragon. I have the cage all set up like I have read about on the net with the temps uv light and the heat lamp. I was wondering at night, do I turn on the 75 w night glo exo terra (shines dim purple) light, or is that not needed. On one website I read that it is not needed and that it will actully keep the bearded dragon up at night. Also last night which was his 1st night home, as soon as I shut the light off, he crawled down and went to sleep in a corner... tonight, at the same time, I shut the lights off and he is still sitting at the top on his branch...like he is basking. Will he come down to go to sleep, or should I turn the lights back on and wait a while untill he gets sleepy? Also yesterday, being his 1st day home, he ate 5 crickets, and today, he wouldnt eat any.... do you think I should try 1st thing in the morning? Thanks for any advise.

I have a newer tank, about 2-3 wks old, 10 gallon. I have 3 tiger barbs, 3 stripped danios, and a rainbow shark. Fish guy told me these were all durable, and none have died yet. But over the last week or so I've noticed this reddish/rust colored slime covering the bottom, fake plant, and 2 props..is this some sort of algae? and if you know how would I be able to get rid of this.
